DreamLeague Season 22. Closed Qualifiers. Western Europe. Upper Bracket. The Tournament Advancement Match. Wrapping up the gaming day is an extremely intriguing encounter, as it will determine the second participant of the tournament for which these qualifiers are being conducted. Tundra Esports will face Entity in a match for a tournament slot. Tundra Esports It's Tundra's second shot, with a new roster, to qualify for the tournament, and they now have two chances to do so, or at least the right to a mistake. They weren't able to qualify for the previous tournament, after losing the decisive match to OG. They lost both of their matches to Sebastian Ceb Debs' team, but OG have already qualified for the tournament, so they can't stop Tundra Esports now. Almost no one gets in the way of the new tops from Western Europe. All that remains is to outplay Entity, who they knocked out in the first round of the loser's bracket in the last tournament. That was a do-or-die match, now it's a match for a tournament slot. In the first round of the winner's bracket of the closed qualifiers for DreamLeague Season 22, Tundra Esports managed to outplay Team Secret, with a score of 2:0, which is why they progressed. In fact, they are in the semi-finals of the upper bracket, or the second round, which at these qualifiers is the winner's final. Entity After a flop at the last qualifiers, Dmitry Fishman Polischuk stated that the team, being at a bootcamp, fell ill and their form is currently below par, but they are still playing. In the last qualifiers, they first lost to Team Tickles in the first round of the loser's bracket with a score of 0:1, and then lost to Tundra Esports with a score of 0:2, after which they left these qualifiers. Now, in the first round of the winner's bracket, things turned out better. In it, Entity encountered Team wkwkwk, a stack that went even further than Entity in the last closed qualifiers. But at the closed qualifiers for DreamLeague Season 22, they managed to win with a score of 2:0, which was this squad's first victory of the New Year. Now they have the opportunity to make it to the tournament and once again prove that this skill of going through online qualifiers in such a format hasn't diminished at all. However, accomplishing this will be extremely difficult. Head-to-Head Tundra Esports and Entity have had 13 matches against each other. Eight of them ended in favour of Tundra Esports. Entity won four matches, and one match ended in a draw. As already mentioned, the new Tundra Esports roster won against Entity with a score of 2:0, just a few days ago. Prediction Betcity, based on team rosters and their last meeting, singles out Tundra Esports as the clear favourite of this match. The odds for the victory of the new roster of the winners of The International 2022 is 1.21. At the same time, the odds for Entity's victory is 4.10. But here, I want to go with the option with a higher coefficient, namely HC1(-1.5) for 1.80. I believe Tundra Esports will replicate their recent success and triumph over their opponents with a clean sheet.

DreamLeague Season 22. Closed qualifiers. Western Europe. Lower bracket. Second round. This is yet another confrontation between a team vying for one of the tournament slots and one that is hoping for at least one qualifying match victory. Team Secret will face off against Team wkwkwk. Team Secret What has once again transpired with Clement Puppey Ivanov's team in the first round of the winners' grid? Yes, it's understandable that they encountered Tundra Esports, whom they lost to just a few days ago and whose lineup is, all in all, somewhat superior. However, why does nothing work out for Team Secret in their new lineup? After their previous unsuccessful qualifications, it seemed high time to pull together and show their full potential, yet what we are witnessing is a persistent lack of ideas and the same old problems with the team. It is therefore clear that the 0:2 loss to Tundra is not representative at all, especially when it comes to matches against lower-level teams. Currently, Team Secret is a team stranded somewhere in the middle, between Tier 1 and Tier 2. It's a decent team, though not top-tier. If you're looking for a comparison, they're a lot like Tottenham. Still, it remains extremely intriguing to see what's next for them, given that, at the very least, they are expected to steamroll their way through the first round of the lower bracket. Team wkwkwk Still not Alliance, rumours have been swirling around this team for the past two weeks, but they still haven't signed with any organization. However, why should they? Considering their performance, it doesn't seem like they are an incredible top-tier team about to burst onto the professional scene if only given a boot camp and an organization. They're a solid Tier-2 stack with potential for more, but that's the limit. The players are mostly mature, so there's no room for further development, and their single victory in the previous qualifiers only confirms this. Interestingly enough, the team was directly invited to these qualifiers, rather than having to compete for a spot, which is a rarity for stacks. However, in the first round, they came up against Entity, who were furious after their previous tournament failure, and were simply wiped out with a score of 2:0. Yes, their performance was not as dominant as it could have been, but there was never a moment of doubt about the match's result. Now, Team wkwkwk faces an even tougher opponent, which so far has been more successful than Entity in the new season. Head-to-head Team Secret and Team wkwkwk have not met before. Prediction Betscity offers one of the lowest odds in this tournament for a Team Secret win, at just 1.13, while their opponents from Team wkwkwk are at 5.40. Here, of course, you should go for Puppey's team win, but you'd want to choose a higher odd. And here, the HANDICAP1 (-1.5) for 1.53 stands out. If Team wkwkwk lost 0:2 to Entity, then Team Secret should have no problem defeating them with a clean sheet.

Tickles
BetBoom Dacha Dubai 2024. Closed qualifiers. Upper bracket. The second match of the game day and a battle for the opportunity to play in the next round, most likely, with one of the main favourites of the qualifiers. Entity will once again be trying to demonstrate their ability to assert themselves online, but Team Tickles will pose a challenge. Entity After two years of attempting to form a team of Western European players, Dmitry "Fishman" Polischuk has finally gone ahead and assembled a team of solely Eastern European representatives. While still playing in the Western European qualifiers, this is simply due to where the team resides and holds boot camps, regardless of the nationality of its players. Hence, Entity is striving to get in through Western Europe. Their first such attempt was without Vladimir "No[o]ne" Minenko, who had been on holiday post-The International 2023. Now the full lineup has come together, so evaluating them on past performance in the ESL One Kuala Lumpur 2023 qualifiers wouldn't be fair. Even then, Entity made it to winners' final and then played in the losers' finals. They lost both matches and didn't advance to LAN. However, the third place for a freshly formed line-up isn't the worst result, particularly given that even then, the line-up wasn't fully complete. Team Tickles This team represents a classic tier-2, or perhaps tier-3, Western European line-up. Rumours suggest they are the secondary lineup of the Gaimin Gladiators, but there's been no confirmation of this. Indicators of this team's quality include their consistent participation in available online tournaments, though their success rate varies from event to event. No major victories, although they consistently pass the group stage. Once in the playoffs and facing increased competition, they tend to fall out. In the closed qualifiers for ESL One Kuala Lumpur 2023, Team Tickles even managed to get through the first winner's bracket round, but back-to-back losses that followed, resulted in their elimination from the tournament. One positive side is that Team Tickles may be one of the only teams with consistent tournament practice, so they might be in the best shape come qualifiers out of all attending teams. On the downside, given the team composition they might just eliminate in the first round of the loser's bracket. Head-to-Head Entity and Team Tickles have yet to face each other in matches. Prediction Betscity, of course, picks Entity as the favourite in this match. The Western European collective is made up mostly of Eastern European representatives and has an odds of 1.26 for victory. Meanwhile, the odds for a Team Tickles victory stands at 3.50. Here, we certainly lean towards an Entity win. Sadly, at the time when the prediction piece is being written there are no better odds available, such as handicaps, so we have to go with a simple Entity victory for a not-so-great odds. However, should you find a handicap of -1.5, feel free to take it.

BetBoom Dacha Dubai 2024. Closed qualifiers. Upper Bracket. Opening match of the entire qualifier for Western Europe and straight off the bat, the top dispatch, new line-up Tundra Esports, which convened right before the qualifier, will be tested by OG, who are currently a solid mid-tier team in the region. Tundra Esports Certainly, the saga of The International 2022 victor is fascinating. After losing its entire squad post International 2023, they endeavoured for some innovation. Initially, they signed the cast of TSM, who departed from their own organisation or more accurately, the organisation released the squad. But in ESL One Kuala Lumpur 2023, they could only penetrate the lower bracket and from there in the first round, they got knocked out by BetBoom Team. Following that, the roster was completely disbanded. The next move? Assembling a new squad in Western Europe and it turned out pretty solid. Ivan Pure~ Moskalyenko, Topias Topson Taavitsainen, Ivan MinD_ContRoL Borislavov, Edgar 9Class Naltakyan, and Matthew Whitemon Filmon appear as the contenders for the region's top-1, at least for these qualifiers. With the ease with which they surpassed the open qualifiers, they are expected to only reinforce this confidence in the squad. Yet, they still have to compete and here come possible first round problems. However, they are still the obvious favourites of these qualifiers. OG Yet again, the two-time victors of The International tried to compile a formidable squad to compete in the qualifiers, aiming to land on LAN-tournaments. Presently, OG is a mix of the old squad members and players that have proven their worth in other collectives, albeit not of the very top level. So far, the team hasn't managed to meet expectations. In the first and only qualifier of this season, they failed to qualify for the tournament, losing to Team Secret in the lower bracket semi-finals, which frankly, isn't a terrible outcome for a roster that had just assembled at that moment. The current level of the team in the new patch remains unclear. Since the end of October, nobody has seen them in action and IG could show up in any form now. Especially considering that they have someone like Sbastien Ceb Debs, maybe not currently the most skilled player, but his experience is beyond enormous and creating something interesting in the new patch is entirely within his capabilities. Hence, from OG we expect some intriguing strategies. As in the area of personal skill, they seem to lag behind the newly formed team. Head-to-head Tundra Esports and OG clashed a total of 26 times. Out of these matches, Tundra Esports claimed 16, while OG secured just eight victories. Two matches ended in a draw. Obviously, in their new line-ups, the teams have not yet met, nor have they met during this season. Prediction Here, I would suggest opting for Tundra's victory. They seem more promising; at least their squad gives the impression that they should almost steamroll through these qualifiers.

ESL One Kuala Lumpur 2023 playoffs. Lower bracket. First round. The second match of the gaming day. The battle for survival between teams from Eastern Europe and North America sets the stage for the next match. Only one team from each of these regions remains in the tournament. Tundra Esports will compete against BetBoom Team. The losing region will be eliminated from the tournament, following in South America's and Southeast Asia's footsteps. Tundra Esports Approaching the final game day, Tundra Esports found themselves in a situation where a draw in their match against Team Falcons could lead to tiebreakers for the upper bracket. On the other hand, a victory from the North American team could elevate them to the upper bracket. Unsurprisingly, Tundra Esports were knocked down to the lower bracket after their defeat. Interestingly, both games did not last more than 40 minutes. Considering Tundra Esports' rocky start yet striking finishes, their defeat was not a complete shock. Despite their overall victory on the first day with two wins and four maps under their belt, the following two days only brought them a single map victory. Tundra Esports concluded the group stages in third place, thanks to their higher Berger coefficient. Their otherwise solid record of 5-5 with two wins, two losses, and a tie has earned them a match against BetBoom Team in the losers bracket. BetBoom Team BetBoom Team, the tournament's foremost draw enthusiasts. The silver lining is that they have not lost to any team in the tournament, a result equivalent to a first-place finish. However, they have not defeated any team, mirroring the last place in group A. Apart from this, the teams from Eastern Europe are yet to score a victory in the tournament. Either BetBoom Team will score a victory in the playoffs or face defeat. After losing the first round, fans were left anxious about the team's future. However, their resolve brought them back into the contest, sparing them a slot in the playoffs. With their solid track record of tie games, they secured the fourth place in their group. Their 5-5 map score is a testament to this. In the playoffs, they will face Tundra Esports in the lower bracket of ESL One Kuala Lumpur 2023, where BetBoom Team's win rate is alarmingly low. Head-to-Head Tundra Esports and BetBoom Team have come face to face three times so far. The match records indicate evenly distributed victories with a tie to boot. The teams have not yet met in their new lineups. Prediction Betsitiv perceives BetBoom Team as the clear favourites of this match, with their victory odds sitting at 1.46. Conversely, Tundra Esports' odds sit at a distant 2.70. I suggest taking the map total over (2.5) for 2.00. Given BetBoom Team's history of drawing all their tournament games, why should we expect anything less than a 1:1 score after two maps in the playoffs?

ESL One Kuala Lumpur 2023 playoffs. Lower bracket. First round. First match of the gaming day.Kicking off the final stage of the tournament to be held in a grand arena in Malaysia, right away, in the first round of the loser's bracket, we are in for a Western Europe derby - Team Secret will be playing against Team Liquid. Team Secret Can we label the team from Western Europe as losers? On the one hand, yes, as they lost a slot in the upper bracket in the playoff, in an unconventional 1v1 format, where Quinn 'Quinn' Callahan met Zheng 'MidOne' Yeik Nai. However, the victory stayed with the mider of Gaimin Gladiators. But on the flipside, Team Secret did manage to score a playoff till those playoffs. Despite ranking last on the first gaming day with Wawitas Sagazes, with a score of 1-3 in maps, they climbed to the playoff zone after the second day. On the third day, as already mentioned, they fairly easily dealt with Wawitas Sagazes, earning themselves firstly a playoff place, then also the right to play in playoffs for the upper bracket, where they did not succeed, but nonetheless, Clement 'Puppey' Ivanov's team remained in the competition. They wrapped up their performance at the third spot with a cards score of 6-4. In the group stage, they had two victories, two draws, and another defeat. Next, they head towards the loser's bracket, where they will face Team Liquid, a replay of the closed qualification for Western Europe. Team Liquid When the conversation turns to the tournament favourites, Team Liquid immediately springs to mind. Minor changes before the tournament, a highly interesting group with no clear favourites, and all teams face problems. But no, Team Liquid, following a mediocre first gaming day, could not make it out of the tournament's lower bracket zone. On the second gaming day, they simply mirrored the first. And the last day of the group stage featured their first draw of the tournament, against the Chinese team, LGD Gaming. Interestingly, Team Liquid could have left the tournament had they simply lost this match, but due to their victory in the first map, they came more relaxed into the second, consequently missing an opportunity to rank third in the group stage. The third and fourth places not being retied, they were determined by Berger's coefficient, which was better for Tundra Esports. As a result, Team Liquid wrapped up the group stage with a 5-5 cards score, having won twice, lost twice and also had one draw. Their next challenge in the loser's bracket will be Team Secret, in the Western Europe derby. Head-to-head Team Secret and Team Liquid have faced each other 57 times. Of these, Team Secret emerged stronger 34 times, while Team Liquid took away 20 encounters. The remaining three matches ended in a draw. Prediction BetCity sees Team Liquid as the favourites in this match, with an odds of 1.34. Meanwhile, the odds for Team Secret to win is 3.30. This is somewhat strange, given the team's approximately equal performance in the group stage of the tournament. Here, you could even dare to take a win for Puppey's team. However, my suggestion is to go for a handicap 1.5 at 1.69, given that Team Secret can certainly take at least one map in this clash.

Group stage of ESL One Kuala Lumpur 2023. Group B. Fourth series of matches. The concluding series features several intriguing matchups. One that catches the eye involves a head-to-head between established tags, Team Liquid and Tundra Esports. Team Liquid The winners of the closed qualifiers for Western Europe were almost the primary favourites for the tournament. Has their situation changed after the first day? Yes, more than likely. The defeat to Team Falcons significantly affected the team evaluation. It's not the best time for Team Liquid, they had to change their lineup after The International 2023 inadvertently. Moreover, they attended this tournament with a different composition than the one that won the closed qualifiers. It's arguable whether these changes are for better or worse. But, after the first match day, Team Liquid doesn't seem like the unshakeable favourites of the group. They indeed won against 9Pandas, but the Eastern Europe collective at this tournament appears amorphous with scarce perspective. Hence, it's still early to estimate the team's strength as these changes might still affect their overall gameplay. But we wont know until the end of the second match day. Thus, for now, were merely predicting their future based on their performance on the first game day. Tundra Esports Of course, people are still getting used to seeing Tundra Esports on the tournament list. But lets make it clear, they have taken the place of Team Undying, who had qualified for this tournament when under the umbrella of TSM. However, the organisation gave up on their lineup, so the roster, who had earlier secured a ninth to twelfth place at The International, had to find a new organisation Tundra Esports. The winners of The International 2022 lost their lineup after an unsuccessful appearance at The International 2023. The players scattered to other lineups, and the organisation started looking for ready-made options, where they found the participant in ESL One Kuala Lumpur 2023. And so far, it's paying off. Two wins in two matches. Even though their opponents were not the strongest, Tundra Esports first defeated G2 Invictus Gaming, then followed with a win over 9Pandas. Resulting in Tundra Esports currently leading Group B. Head-to-head Team Liquid and Tundra Esports had 23 matches together. Team Liquid won 12 of these, while Tundra Esports won nine, and only once there was a draw. The tags have not encountered each other with their new line-ups. Prediction Interestingly, even considering the first match day, the bookmakers still see Team Liquid as the favourites. Betsiti gives odds of 2.17 for a Western Europe collective win. Even a draw comes at higher odds 2.20. The odds for Tundra Esports to win is 6.00. My proposal would be to go for a draw because both teams need to win to secure a good place in the group.

ESL One Kuala Lumpur 2023 group stage. Group B. Fourth round. The closing match of the gaming day, namely, the first gaming day. And this is a real treat for gaming enthusiasts. It's a derby between two Chinese teams G2 Invictus Gaming and LGD Gaming. A team that is aspiring to be the top-1 in the region and a team currently considered top-1 of the Chinese region. G2 Invictus Gaming The contender for the top-1 spot in the entire region. A team that sparks the media with diverse news and probably the only Chinese team currently being discussed in all social networks and specialised sites. Initially, Invictus Gaming introduced a reformed squad. They have completely changed the roster from the one that played in the previous season to an updated roster with the region's best players. Monet Dụ Păng, Chen NothingToSay Jin Xiang, Thiǎy Zhong JT- Wn, Ye BoBoKa Zhibiǎo and Jiān Wi xNova Yp. The team's coach is Sū super Păng, the only one remained in the team after the last season. This team has shown good performance so far. They kicked off by winning the closed qualifier for ESL One Kuala Lumpur 2023, and then they won a local offline tournament. Most recently, they became G2 Invictus Gaming. Indeed, IG decided to collaborate with G2, previously known in other esports disciplines. LGD Gaming Up against the contenders for the top-1 spot in the region is the current top-1, namely LGD Gaming. Of course, this is not the same LGD Gaming that won last season's DPC in the Chinese region and solely went to The International 2023 on points. Now it's an entirely different team and if you observe the popularity of the nicknames and overall issues, the team has become weaker than it was before. Chen NothingToSay Jin Xiang, who moved to another team, the one LGD Gaming will face now. Ln pLAnet Ho also left the team and has been moved to inactive status. Zhou Emo Yi and Xiong Pyw Jiahan came to their place. The former played for Invictus Gaming, but the organisations basically agreed on a mid-lane swap. The latter also represented IG. In this way, Invictus Gaming gave away its not-so-good assets, and in return, they got two best players in the region. The reason for this swap is unclear for LGD Gaming, just as it is unclear who will coach the team in the upcoming season, and for ESL One Kuala Lumpur 2023, as there are diverse rumours. Head-to-head G2 Invictus Gaming and LGD Gaming have not previously met each other. After all, G2 Invictus Gaming has both a new name and a completely new lineup, so it's not worth recalling past matches. Prediction Interestingly, the favourite of this match is G2 Invictus Gaming, with Betsity giving odds of 2.90 for their win, while a win of LGD Gaming yields odds of 4.40. The most plausible result, according to bookmakers, is a draw. The odds for this result stand at 1.96. Nevertheless, I would still propose to go for P1. No doubt, NothingToSay will want to demonstrate his worth to his old team.

Pinnacle: 25 Year Anniversary Show. Group D. The third match of the game day and a battle for the top spot in the group. A team assembled from players around Europe, The dudley boyz (formerly D2 Hustlers and Luna Galaxy), are set to face off against Nemiga Gaming, a squad representing the CIS region. The dudley boyz Truthfully, these types of stacks at the beginning of the season or in this season when there's no solid transfer window, will prove to be formidable. They consist of decent players who, just last season competed in the Western Europe's first division but found no organisation to represent. Ivan MinD_ContRoL Borislavov, a former The International winner, is part of this team. Apart from Edgar 9Class Naltakyan, the rest played for D2 Hustlers. With such strong lineup, the players from last season's Western Europe first division, The dudley boyz, yet face any issues at Pinnacle: 25 Year Anniversary Show. Three matches and three victories, all wins achieved with a 2:0 score against Alliance, Klim Sani4 and Keyd Stars. Already securing a playoff spot in the tournament, it's now a matter of deciding the group's top spot. Should they lose, they'll relinquish their position to Nemiga Gaming. Nemiga Gaming The Belarusian team, which last season reigned supreme in online matches but stumbled in the DPC leagues, haven't put up the strongest performance in this tournament. Nevertheless, they're defending the Pinnacle Cup title having won the previous two tournaments organised by the same organizing committee. Thus, despite having an entirely different lineup than in previous tournaments, this team should be taken seriously. At Pinnacle: 25 Year Anniversary Show, they've encountered problems. Although Nemiga Gaming have safely advanced to the playoffs, they've lost one match, falling to League leader Alliance 0:2. They won their other two matches against Klim Sani4 and Keyd Stars but they struggled in both, losing a map in each. Hence, the 2:1 scoreline. Interestingly, this is the first tournament of the new season for the team, as they even skipped the open qualifiers for the season opener - the reasons for this have not been specified. Head-to-Head The dudley boyz and Nemiga Gaming have not faced off against each other yet. Prediction BetsCity sees The dudley boyz as the favourites with odds of 1.12, while Nemiga Gaming's odds are 5.80. As in the first matches of this game day, where the favourites face not the strongest teams, I suggest placing the bet on HANDICAP1 (-1.5) at 1.64. Surely, the chance for this outcome is lower than in the earlier matches of the day, but considering The dudley boyz's recent matches and Nemiga Gaming's issues, this result is quite plausible.

Yellow Submarine
Pinnacle: 25 Year Anniversary Show. Group V. The second match of the gaming day and a battle for the playoffs. Two teams, both predominantly yellow, will face off for a playoff spot. Natus Vincere are the obvious favourites before the match, but perhaps the current Yellow Submarine lineup will surprise everyone with their performance and manage to land another organization all too soon. Natus Vincere Natus Vincere's performance at the ESL One Kuala Lumpur 2023 Eastern Europe qualifier was subpar, to say the least. However, it's worth noting that the team reshuffled after that qualifier, with at least the fourth position being new. Bakyt Zayac Emilzhanov, who returned to the team after a short break, now takes the place of Tamir Daze Tokpanov. At the ESL One Kuala Lumpur 2023 qualification, NaVi ranked top 5-6, which is a dismal result for a team that reached the winners' final at the The International 2023 qualification and lost to a now defunct team. Natus Vincere's situation is slightly better at the Pinnacle: 25 Year Anniversary Show. They've only suffered one loss against Team Falcons and at least secured playoff re-qualifications. Thanks to victories against MoneyMakers and Atlas Burden - 2:0 against the former and 2:1 against the latter - all Natus Vincere need to do to reach the playoffs from the second place is simply to win today's match. Yellow Submarine Long ago, this tag was used to assemble young players with an experienced captain who even made it through the open qualifier for The International 2023. Now, the situation has changed slightly. The tag now brings together young and promising players, but they lack a strong captain previously known. Yellow Submarine failed to reach the closed qualifier of ESL One Kuala Lumpur 2023. They lost in the second round during the first one and did not participate in the second open qualifier. The team's situation at the Pinnacle: 25 Year Anniversary Show is not the brightest: they still have playoff chances, or rather re-qualification for the playoffs, but they need to defeat Natus Vincere, or they'll end up in second to last place in the group. At the moment, Yellow Submarine have one victory over Atlas Burden with a 2:0 score. They had two losses in the matches against MoneyMakers and Team Falcons. They lost 1:2 to the former and 0:2 to the latter. Head-to-head Meetings Natus Vincere and Yellow Submarine met once in 2020, Natus Vincere came out on top with a 2:1 score. Prediction Natus Vincere come in as the favourites in this match, with odds of 1.06 to their victory, while Yellow Submarine's victory is priced at 8.20. Similar to the first match of the day, I suggest looking at the point spread. Betsiti offers a line of HANDICAP1 (-1.5) at 1.42, meaning a 2:0 victory for the Ukrainian team. We'll take that, simply because other options seem rather feeble in terms of the odds.

Pinnacle: 25 Year Anniversary Show. Group A. The fourth game of the day and also the concluding one. In terms of the level of opponents, this game stands out as the only evenly matched game of the day. Understandably, it's a battle for the playoffs. Level UP, who breathed hope into their playoff chances in the most recent game, will meet KZ TEAM. Level UP Perhaps, when you see this tag, you think of Nikita Daxak Kuzmin. However, Nikita is not currently a part of this team, I'd even say, this current lineup is completely different from the one that competed in the qualifiers to The International 2023. Now it's a stack of players from Eastern Europe, only seasoned with two Greek players. So far, Level UP's fortunes have been mixed. They've only one win at the Pinnacle: 25 Year Anniversary Show, an unexpected victory over B8, achieved in their last meetup. A loss there would definitively have put Level UP out of the playoffs contention. At that moment, this win kept their chances alive. Level UP lost the two other matches, initially to Natus Vincere Junior with a score of 0:2, and then to group leader Tickles with a score of 1:2. From this perspective, Level UP's performance has been improving, from an initial outright defeat, then a 1:2 defeat to the group leader, culminating in a victory over the team occupying the second place. Hence, it's hard to assess the team's strength at present. KZ TEAM The situation with KZ TEAM is a bit more interesting. Unlike Level UP, they didn't skip the open qualifiers for ESL One Kuala Lumpur 2023 for Eastern Europe, but they lost both open qualifiers. Yes, don't be surprised, KZ TEAM are now an Eastern European team, as three members represent the post-Soviet space, even though this tag has been associated purely with Greek players for the past year. Now there are only two Greeks left. KZ TEAM are currently participating in all tournaments. For instance, in the European Pro League Season 14, they outright won their group but fell in the playoffs to the losers bracket after losing their match to Natus Vincere Junior. They've an uphill battle ahead in the losers bracket. Interestingly, at the Pinnacle: 25 Year Anniversary Show, this Eastern European collective defeated Natus Vincere Junior 2:1, but lost to B8 and Tickles. The former defeated them 1:2, the latter 0:2. Now, to get out of the group, they must defeat Level UP, or else, they'll be eliminated from the tournament. Head-to-head Level UP and KZ TEAM have met twice before, and both times Level UP came out on top with a score of 2:0. Prediction As mentioned earlier, this match is the most evenly matched game of the day. But BetsCity still favours Level UP, with odds of 1.73 for their victory, while KZ TEAMs stands at 2.03. If you're choosing a winner, I would recommend betting on KZ TEAM. However, in my view, a better bet would be on total maps over (2.5) at 1.90. Simply put, two equal teams that often end up playing three maps are likely to end up with a 2:1 score in either direction, just because in a match of equal teams, this seems like the most reliable scenario.

Pinnacle: 25 Year Anniversary Show, Group A. Kicking off the second match day of the tournament, we look forward to the debut of Daniil 'Dendi' Ishutin's new roster, which is highly anticipated by fans worldwide. Although they debuted previously in the open qualifiers for ESL, this is the main stage of the tournament where a margin for error exists and the pressure is not as high. Team Tickles will cross swords with B8 Esports. Team Tickles Perhaps not a tag that draws instant recognition and a rather peculiar team, the question arises as to why an invite was extended to Team Tickles to this tournament. The answer lies in the fact that they are, in essence, the former Luna Galaxy, who secured the third spot in The International 2023 qualifiers for Western Europe. Whilst the line-up has undergone changes, familiar traits persist. The present roster of Team Tickles has already managed to make it to the closed qualifiers of West Europe for ESL One Kuala Lumpur 2023. However, they met with failure there despite convincingly winning the first open qualifier with an ensuing easy adversary in the first winners round, where they defeated Nightshade 2:0. Following this, they encountered losses against Team Liquid, who proceeded first to ESL One Kuala Lumpur 2023, and then Team Secret, the second participants in ESL One Kuala Lumpur 2023 from the closed Western Europe qualifiers. Thus, it can be concluded that Team Tickles lost to the strongest teams in the region. B8 Esports Dendi's collective underwent a replacement of two out of its five players following the qualifiers for The International 2023 in North America. There, they secured the second spot, stopping one step away from the main event of the year. Currently, B8 Esports are competing in Western Europe. Thus far, their performance hasn't been up to the mark, evident from their defeat in both the first and second open qualifiers for ESL One Kuala Lumpur 2023. The present B8 Esports, as a result, is quite ambiguous in terms of their skill level. While they have managed two victories at European Pro League Season 14, it is a plainly Tier-3 level tournament where none of the participating teams compete in LAN tournaments. Therefore, the Pinnacle: 25 Year Anniversary Show is likely to present one of the sternest tests for B8's new roster. This is a tier-2 level team in terms of the names, but it remains to be seen whether they can overcome a similar team fluctuating between the tier-2 and tier-3 scenes. Team Tickles seem to be the preferred choice for now, but a week can change a lot, and the B8 Esports team, with several matches under their belt, could establish their game and look stronger. Head-to-Head Team Tickles and B8 Esports have yet to meet in competition. Predictions It is unsurprising that the favourites of this match are Team Tickles, with Betsiti offering odds of 1.22 for their victory, while B8 Esports' win is set at 4.00. Choosing to go with the favourite doesn't seem like a safe bet as we're still uncertain about the strength of B8 Esports. I'd rather put my chips on the HANDICAP2 ( 1.5) for 1.85. After all, Dendi's squad should be able to clinch at least one map. It's not that bad just yet, even by names alone, and in due course they might even secure a victory.

The International 2023. Final stage of the tournament. Upper bracket. First game day. The third match of the game day and the opening of the upper bracket on the main stage. Already, many are calling this match the hidden grand finale of the tournament, simply because Team Spirit is considered the strongest team in the world right now, and Team Liquid are known for reaching tournament finals and losing them. Team Spirit Perhaps the main contender to win this tournament. Team Spirit has been considered the strongest team in the world for the last three months, losing very rarely, not just series, but even maps. For instance, in this tournament, their map score is 12-1. The Eastern European team breezed through the group stage without a single defeat. Four victories in four matches and a first-place finish gave them the privilege of choosing their playoff opponents. They selected Shopify Rebellion, a squad from North America. Though they struggled, Team Spirit clinched a 2:0 victory. Team Spirit first encountered problems in the first round of the winners' bracket during their match against Virtus.pro. They lost the first map and should have lost the second but managed to win an incredible game and finally secured the series. As a result, they became the first team to advance to the final stage of the tournament and simply awaited their opponent. Team Liquid Their opponents turned out to be the main failures of this season, although it's a matter of perspective. On the one hand, they are unsuccessful, as they have lost five grand finals out of five, but on the other hand, they got there, which means they were at least better than all the other teams in the tournaments, but each time they lost the decisive tournament match. Hence, they awaited The International 2023. The Western European team passed the group stage with a single defeat in one map against Azure Ray in the very first match of the tournament. Afterward, Team Liquid didn't lose a single map. Firstly, they beat Evil Geniuses in the playoffs with a 2:0 score. Their opponents in the winners' bracket were Talon Esports, whom they completely crushed without any chance of winning, also with a 2:0 score. After this victory, they proceeded further along the winners' bracket in the final stage of the tournament, where Team Spirit were already waiting for them. As a result, Team Liquid was the second team which lost only one map in the whole tournament, but that one was in the group stage, where it mattered the least. Head-to-Head Team Spirit and Team Liquid have played 13 matches against each other. Out of these, Team Spirit won five. Team Liquid prevailed over their opponents six times, and two matches ended in a draw. This season has seen two draws, one victory for the Western European team, and two victories for the Eastern European team. Prediction It's not surprising that Pinnacle views Team Spirit as the favourite in this match, with odds standing at 1.56, given that their current form seems monstrous and they have also won the recent head-to-head matches. The odds for Team Liquid are 2.40. Here, I would suggest going with win at Spirit. Realistically, everything is going too well for the Eastern European team to stumble at this stage.

The International 2023. Group Stage. First day of gaming. Group A. The day's third series of matches kicks off with a clash of the "southerners"- hailing from South America and Southeast Asia, respectively. Evil Geniuses will encounter Team SMG. This is likely to be a feisty battle for tournament survival between two presumed underdogs. Evil Geniuses This South American team's activities in the last six months remain a mystery. At the start of the season, they dominated their division in international tournaments, even making it to the top 4 of the season's first major. However, things started to fall apart, and they didn't make it through the group stage at the last major, taking last place. That being said, they managed to become the top team in South America during the last season of the first division. The issue is that this achievement didn't lead to anything good; they crashed at the major, and subsequently didn't impress at non-Valve tournaments. Right now, they look like the main outsiders of Group A, but as The International demonstrates, anything can happen. The team could bring their extraordinary starts to the tournament and then stun everyone with an incredible level of play. That said, there's hardly any faith in this happening, and they're likely to be the first to get knocked out of this group. Team SMG This group's second qualifier winner hails from Southeast Asia. Team SMG is arguably the most interesting team of this tournament from a pre-tournament information perspective. All the teams made changes earlier, but Team SMG ran into issues and had to change their lineup right before the tournament. Many are saying this ended up benefiting the team, as Ivan MinD_ContRoL Borislavov looks stronger than the past lineupNatthaphon Masaros Ouanphakdee, who can't participate in the tournament due to visa issues. Also, they'll be led by a new coach for this tournament, namely Song Go Heen Lee, who previously coached Team Secret and will be on loan until the end of the tournament. With this lineup, Team SMG looks average for this group. Head-to-Head Evil Geniuses and Team SMG haven't played each other before. While EG is a constant participant in international tournaments, Team SMG has only qualified for one Tier-1 level international tournament. Prediction BetCity ranks Evil Geniuses a slight favourite. Their victory has odds of 3.10, while Team SMG is only at 4.20. If you're willing to take a risk, simply bet on the Asian team's victory. However, I would suggest the most reasonable optiontake the Draw at 1.94. The teams are of a roughly equal level, and in the private encounter towards the end of the gaming day, they will be pushing hard for victory, which increases the chance of a draw.

The final match of Group B, the last match of the third game day, the last match of the entire group stage of the tournament and most importantly, the battle for the upper bracket. Yes, there is even a chance that it will be a battle not just for the upper bracket, but also for the playoffs and potentially, an exit although that's quite unlikely. So, we have the final match of the day with 9 Pandas against beastcoast. The Eastern European team defends their title in a match against South America. 9 Pandas One of the best teams in Eastern Europe, namely Collective Alexey Solo Berezin, competes at a moderate level at this tournament. Although they lost to Gaimin Gladiators, they made a comeback on the second day, defeating their rivals from Nigma Galaxy in the opening match of the day. At this moment, they are tied for second to third place with their upcoming rival in the final match of the group stage. As to how the final match in the tournament will end, it's hard to predict. Both teams appear evenly matched, especially since 9 Pandas have stated they weren't particularly prepared for the tournament and spent the last month on holiday. So hoping for extraordinary results might not be realistic at this point. beastcoast One might want to say that beastcoast is one of the strongest teams in South America, but given that there are only two to choose from, it's hard to determine if beastcoast is among the best or the best. The team's performance varies. On the one hand, they achieved two victories in the first seasons of the first South American division, whilst from another perspective, their performance in the first two majors wasn't particularly successful. However, they finished second in the last season of the first division, demonstrating better performance than their South American competitors in the major event. Evaluating the team's strength is challengin; it's unclear. For this tournament, unlike at least half of the participants, the team was invited straight off and are thus performing just like their match opponents, with alternating wins and losses. Right now, the main question is which team will make it to the upper bracket of this tournament. Head-to-Head 9 Pandas and beastcoast have played 3 matches together. All three victories were clinched by the team from Eastern Europe, where two matches were won 2:0 by 9 Pandas, and one ended with a 2:1 score. Prediction 9 Pandas are seen as the slight favourites for this match, with Betsiti offering odds at 2.70, while beastcoast's victory odds are at 4.60. The most plausible outcome according to the bookmakers is a draw, offering odds of 1.90. Given the current parity of these teams, predicting a winner is extremely difficult, prompting me to go for a draw in this match.

BetBoom Dacha - Main Event. Group Stage. The third game day. Group A. This is the last match of group A and second last of the group stage. At the time of the prediction, it's not clear how teams will be placed before this match, but it is safe to say that TSM have been impressing at this tournament, they're the only ones in group A to have achieved a victory so far, whilst BetBoom Team, on the other hand, have been drawing all matches so far. BetBoom Team The host for this tournament, a team that hasn't won any matches yet but hasn't lost any either. BetBoom Team have been playing very average, it is noticeable that the team hasn't really been practising for the last 1.5 months and this tournament is literally rolling out for them in preparation for The International 2023, for which they qualified via points. Even with this, BetBoom Team are considered one of the strongest teams of the tournament, they probably have the best line-up at this tournament, barring one team in group B. In addition, BetBoom Team have been performing strongly at the recent "Dota 2" tournaments, namely the grand finals of DreamLeague Season 20. The crucial thing left is to win at least one major tournament, and not finish just a step away from victory, which includes winning the first division of Eastern Europe. TSM Many are calling this team the "dark horse" of the tournament. Apparently, TSM practised a lot before the tournament and won against almost all their opponents in the training matches. The only question left is if TSM are as strong as they are being talked up to be, in the first tournament they managed to outplay Evil Geniuses and are currently the only team in Group A who have managed to score two points and are currently leading the tournament table of Group A. Of course, by the end of the second game day, this could change and another team could be placed at the top of group A, but for now, TSM are leading. Let's see if they can continue their journey to the top of Group A on the last game day of the group stage, or finish the tournament at the bottom of the group. Head-to-Head BetBoom Team and TSM have had 2 matches against each other. The team from Eastern Europe claimed both matches and both ended with a 2:0 scoreline. Prediction The favourite for the match is BetBoom Team, BetCity gives an odds of 1.77 for their victory, whilst a draw is valued at 2.30. The odds for TSM victory looks astronomical - a whopping 9.00. My suggestion is to go for a draw, TSM are looking too good in this tournament, whilst BetBoom Team appear lost and finish each of their matches in a draw, not to mention the odds for this outcome look great - you can double your bet. So, taking a risk and choosing this outcome, I believe, would not be a bad decision.

BetBoom Dacha - Main Event. Group stage. Third match day. Group B. The second match of the day, also the opening match of Group B. This bout features the clear leader and the favourite of the group, against not just the main outsider of this group, but against the underdog of the entire tournament, namely Nigma Galaxy will clash with Gaimin Gladiators. The former being the underdogs, the latter the true favourites. Nigma Galaxy The only team to get into the tournament through qualifiers, specifically through the Online stage, during which they defeated tier-2,3 teams from Eastern and Western Europe. After this tournament, it seemed like Nigma Galaxy was the favourite of the qualifiers. But the end result was disheartening, with a loss in the upper grid to Entity and a defeat in the lower grid to Alliance, resulting in their elimination from The International 2023 qualifiers without a singular victory. Only two maps were won, and it seems from the team that won the qualifiers to being the worst team at The International 2023 qualifiers in Western Europe, and now they are considered the weakest team at BetBoom Dacha with two losses in two matches. To reach the playoffs, Nigma Galaxy must win at the very least, and even then, play-off ties might still be awaiting them. Gaimin Gladiators This season's best team, winners of all three majors and victors of the DreamLeague Season 19 and DreamLeague Season 20. Only the Riyadh Masters tournament was not won over by the Gaimin Gladiators, which stings particularly because the biggest prize pool was to be won at this tournament. Having come to BetBoom Dacha to rectify this after 1.5 months of gaming inactivity, they've performed exceptionally well so far, winning two out of two matches. The first was a high stakes victory over 9 Pandas and the second over beescoast, both of which are stronger teams than their final opponent. Gaimin Gladiators have already made it to this tournament's playoffs and they only need to win one map to guarantee the first place, having already secured their place in the winners' bracket. Head-to-Head Nigma Galaxy and Gaimin Gladiators have played 4 matches against each other. Gaimin Gladiators took away three victories and Nigma Galaxy managed one win. This year, both matches were won by Gaimin Gladiators. Prediction Unsurprisingly the Gaimin Gladiators are regarded as the favourites in this matchup, with betting odds of 1.55. However, it's crucial to recognise that these odds don't fully take into account the tournament's situation, in which Gaimin Gladiators don't need to win both maps to secure the first place in the group. Therefore, the odds of 2.60 for a tie look appealing, but you could also opt for Nigma Galaxys victory at 12.00, should you believe that Gaimin Gladiators already have everything they need and will not fight for the top spot in the group.

BetBoom Dacha - Main Event. Group stages. Third game day. Group A. The opening match of the last game day of the group stage is, as per tradition, played by the team that ended on the previous day. Team Secret will play against Evil Geniuses, battling for the playoffs, maybe even for the upper bracket. Team Secret Known as the Western Europe team that failed to win the qualifications for The International 2023, for them, now is the time when any tournament becomes the main event of the year. The BetBoom Dacha, with its $150,000 prize pool, should be a significant motivation for Clement 'Puppey' Ivanov's team. The team's level can be debated, but one fact remains: they are currently one of the best teams in this tournament, solely because they are one of the few who recently participated in professional play, particularly in the unsuccessful qualifications for The International 2023. Now, they are striving to get out of the group in their first match in this tournament and have even managed to take one map from BetBoom Team. Not a bad result, considering BetBoom are playing at their home tournament and are considered the main favorite, not just of Group A, but of the entire event. Evil Geniuses At the time of writing, this is the last team in Group A. In their first tournament match, they managed to lose to TSM 0:2. However, on the second game day, they did win one map against BetBoom Team. As the matches here follow a best-of-2 system, they have earned one point so far. To make it to the playoffs, they must win in the final match of the game day; otherwise, there is a high chance that they will leave the tournament at the group stage. Interestingly, Evil Geniuses were not supposed to participate in this tournament originally. They received a chance to play as replacements and did not decline. However, their current form resembles their last season's major, where they not only didnt qualify for the playoffs but also ended as the worst team in the tournament. Head-to-Head Team Secret and Evil Geniuses have played 36 matches together. Of these, Team Secret has won 20, and Evil Geniuses 12, while four ended in a draw. This year, the teams have played twice, drawing once and yielding a victory to Evil Geniuses on the other occasion. Prediction BetCity views Evil Geniuses as the slight favorites for this match, with odds at 3.00 for their victory, while the odds for Team Secret's win are at 4.40. The lowest odds are on a draw, at 1.92. However, I would suggest selecting the alternative outcome of Team Secret winning with a 0 HANDICAP at odds of 2.28. Team Secret could win this match, but to secure ourselves, I will take the handicap, in case of a draw, the bet will simply be returned. There is not that much confidence in a victory prospect for the Western European squad.
