Federico Gaio
It appears rather captivating to watch two partial "clay-courters" play on the hard surface of the Challenger in Cassis. The techniques of both tennis players, about whom this publication is dedicated, quite resembles that suited for "clay" courts. Alejandro Moro Canas, a young Spaniard from Madrid, will meet Federico Gaio from Faenza, Italy. The players are indeed interesting, and their match should be a spectacle. However, we will make it even more engaging by providing a betting forecast. Alejandro Moro Canas Moro Canas has been making slow, perhaps incremental, progress in Challengers. The Spaniard has seemingly outgrown the Futures as it's evident he has the capabilities to find success in more competitive, albeit lower-tier, tournaments. Initially, one might have thought of Alejandro as a "clay-courter"; however, the lad is not half bad on hard courts. Moro Canas fleetingly mirrors a young Bautista Agut with their basic techniques appearing somewhat similar. This year, Alejandro has not had any significant achievements, but he did reach the semi-finals in the Challengers in Lyon, and subsequently in Pueblonuevo. He also made it to the semi-finals in the Prague(4) tournament, where he beat strong opponents only to lose to Jakub Mensik before the final. In Cassis, Moro Canas had a fairly difficult opening match against Moe Echargui of Tunisia. Echargui led (7:6;5:1) but lost, displaying how easily one could bungle a crucial game and become entirely deflated. The 1/16 final was not Alejandro's best game, but it motivated him as not everyone would are able to recover from such a scorea fact worth appreciating. Moro Canas' match against the Italian Gaio will be similarly vague, with neither tennis player retaining the initiative, but nuances will decide the outcome. The player showing greater stability in play shall clinch the win. Federico Gaio Well, the Italian is indeed a clay court specialist. On hard courts, he endeavors to perform during breaks, or when there are no alternatives. It's been a long while since Gaio claimed any trophies; his last triumph was the hard court Challenger title in Bangkok. This year, Federico had several opportunities to bag a few awards at Futures. In addition, Gaio made it to the final of the clay court Challenger in Turin but failed to overpower Dominik Koepfer. The Italian also made it into several quarterfinals, but overall, he's had average results that have kept him from advancing in the ATP ranking. The first game in Cassis was a tough one for him. He competed against Kalin Ivanovski of Macedonia in the 1/16 final. Gaio fumbled only in the opening set, after which his game improved steadily, unlike that of the Macedonian who became less aggressive and more defensive of his own serve. In the second round, Federico will face Moro Canas. I believe we'll see a multitude of combinations, and it will be intriguing to see whether Gaio will forever tread the backline or play more frequently in the court. Match prediction I'll place my bet on Alejandro. I believe that the Spaniard will be more tactical in his play, and statistically, he won't fall below the standard norms. Gaio's serve is periodically unstable, while Moro Canas is always focused on the reception.

We move further down the Challenger grid in Cassis. It's time to unpack the more significant tennis players whom the draw pits against each other in the 1/8 finals. Frederico Ferreira Silva from Portugal, ranked at 229 in the ATP table, will square off against Liam Broady, the second-seeded player of this tournament. This match could be called the centerpiece of the second round of play, so it can't be left without a competent bet. Frederico Ferreira Silva The third hundred in the ATP table is not a true indicator of Silva's abilities, but rather a demonstration of his current form. Frederico's season journey has been weak so far, with a good performance only in the clay Challenger in Troisdorf, where the Portuguese reached the final, losing against Ivan Gakhov. In the grand slams, Ferreira Silva was twice a stride away from the 1/64th, but when it came to the crunch, he was faced with an Italian who did not allow Frederico to enter the main draw. Ferreira Silva has had a long title drought, and it's about time he started vying for awards, even if its at futures, which he hardly frequents. Three years ago, Frederico triumphed at a domestic tournament and since then, it's been only local minor successes. In Cassis, Ferreira Silva managed to outmanoeuvre one Briton, albeit a rather unfit for Challenger, but once played at such a level - Daniel Cox. Now again he's up against an opponent from Great Britain, but a little younger and more complex. Liam Broady is pretty good at playing on hard courts, so Frederico needs to be ready to find ways to counter another Briton, who is almost the absolute favourite of this game. Liam Broady The Briton has performed well in some tournaments this year, and generally looks decent over the course of the season, trying to break into the top 100 of the ATP world rankings. A feasible task, considering that Broady is already at 107. Among Liam's achievements this season, it is worth noting the trophy won earlier on the Vilnius(2) Challenger indoors and a bit later, there was a final in Biel, which Broady lost to Jurij Rodionov. Aside from these tournaments, there were also minor victories, for example, several Challenger semi-finals in North America, and recently he reached the third round at Wimbledon, although the other three grand slams were played in the qualifiers. Clearly, the Brit is hard at work and Challengers are needed to move up in class, and also to garner ranking points, which Broady now has enough of for some 250-level "main" tournaments. At the Challenger in Cassis, the Brit easily started with a victory over Frenchman Dan Added, who lost the first set and then flunked the second. The game with Ferreira Silva will be tougher, but it's a matter of Liam's readiness, since the match with Added didn't really show if there's a problem with the Brit's technique. I think Frederico will put Broady to the test, skillfully mixing and playing variably on the receive. Everything will boil down to combinations, but Liam is in good order right now, so rightly, he's the favourite of the match. Match prediction: Frederico Ferreira Silva - Liam Broady I'll be betting on Liam with a negative handicap on games. I think that Ferreira Silva will stylistically lose this match, in which the initiative will be held by Broady, and he'll manage to win in two sets.

Jesper De Jong
Jesper De Jong
Witnessing a contest between tennis players from different generations always piques intrigue. Indeed, this could be the tagline for this article that narrates the game between Marcel Ilhan and Jesper De Jong. I conjecture tennis enthusiasts are familiar with the Turkish veteran, as well as the Dutch player who's currently in the second hundred in the rankings, although De Jong may resonate more with football themes. Essentially, we must acquaint ourselves with both players' current capabilities, then scout for the right bet for their face-off. Marcel Ilhan The Turkish tennis player occupies the 1290th spot on the ATP table today, though he once prospered within the first hundred of the world ranking, naturally as a younger player. Ilhan played his first official game in 2002, which cumulates to over a thousand games, having clinched 23 titles, four of which were Challengers. However, he has yet to secure a "main" trophy. Ilhan has been performing in futures this season, albeit unsuccessfully. Due to his far-flung ranking, he constantly has to go through qualifiers to enter the main grid of any tournament. Even for the domestic Challenger "wild card", it was allocated to him only for the qualifying matches since the organizers were unable to permit a player with nearly negligible points in the table to snag a spot in the 1/16 finals. Certainly, the Turkish tennis player achieved sensational victories, defeating Humayun Sultanov, who the bookmakers pegged as the absolute favourite of the match. Also, Ilhan got past the American Omni Kumar, in what was an equal contest, yet Ilhan from Turkey was slightly more stable. These were all qualifying battles. De Jong is significantly stronger than both of Marcel's opponents in the qualifying games, but such was the lots drawn. I presume Ilhan must go all out, showcasing his capabilities to the audience. Jesper is the second seed in this Challenger in Istanbul, meaning he'll certainly be nervous knowing that the stands will be rooting for Ilhan. A loss to the Dutchman won't be much of a blow for the Turkish tennis player, while De Jong, who's here with different goals likely associated with ambitions to win the trophy, would be more upset to fall out in the first round of the competition. We'll see what excitement the tennis players bring us. Hopefully, Ilhan hasn't drained all his energy in the qualifiers. Jesper De Jong The season is shaping up well for the Dutch tennis player. Jesper recently won a hard-court Challenger in Poland and cemented a title in the futures in spring. There were missed trophies too, such as the second clay courts Challenger in Rome where De Jong lost the finale to Sumit Nagal from India. At the beginning of the year, again on clay court, Jesper lost the decisive battle for the trophy to Juan Manuel Cerundolo in Tigre. There were some local successes on the same dirt court, but the hard courts were what brought De Jong rewards. After the trophy in Grodzisk-Mazowiecki, the Dutch tennis player set off for the US Open, attempting to pass the qualifier. However, after a good match against American Tristan Boyer, something went amok with the (6:0) score, won by Jesper against Liam Brodie in the first set. Brodie managed to win twice (7:5) but could've played better had he exploited the loopholes in De Jong's game. In Istanbul, the Netherlander is considered one of the key contenders for the trophy, so it appears that the match against Marcel Ilhan should be a cakewalk for De Jong. Jesper outclasses Ilhan in many aspects, so there's little room to expect the Turkish tennis player to find gaps in the game that might change the situation with the same odds before this game. Match prediction It's crucial for the Dutch tennis player to economise his tournament distance by defeating Ilhan without unnecessary exertion. Marcel might find his game in several match games but is likely to lose in two sets.

However, he lost in the final to Sinner with a score of 4:6, 4:6. Previously, in the Cabos and Newport tournaments, Paul scored victories over Meligeni Rodrigues Alves with a score of 7:5, 7:6 (9:7) and Quinzi with a score of 6:4, 6:2, but lost in subsequent matches to De Minaur with a score of 4:6, 6:3, 3:6 and Isner with a score of 6:4, 3:6, 6:7 (4:7). On Wimbledon in early July, Tommy overcame Mochizuki and Raonic, but lost to Lehecka. During the Eastbourne tournament, he reached the final by taking down Baez, Wolf and Barrere but fell to Cerundolo in the finals. At the London tournament, Paul successfully passed two qualifying rounds, defeating Daniel and Harris, but was beaten by Cerundolo in the main draw. In three previous tournaments, Paul couldn't advance past the first round, beating Bonzi in Stuttgart, Stricker at the French Open, and Barrere in Lyon. However, he subsequently lost to Struff, Harris and Nakashima. This season, Paul also reached the finals in clay Challengers in Provenal and hard court tournament in Acapulco. He managed to reach the semi-final in the Australian Open. Ben Shelton 20-year-old Ben Shelton, ranked 47th in the world tennis rankings, claimed three victories in the US Open. He impressively defeated Kachanov with a score of 1:6, 6:3, 6:2, 6:4 in the first match, followed by Tim who retired mid-play with a score of 7:6 (7:1), 1:0 in Shelton's favour. Subsequently, Ben managed to take care of Karatsev with a score of 6:4, 3:6, 6:2, 6:0. In Cincinnati, he also showcased good play, beating Eubanks with a score of 5:7, 6:4, 6:4, but subsequently lost to Tsitsipas 6:7 (3:7), 6:7 (2:7). Previously, Shelton struggled, losing 10 out of 13 matches. In Toronto, he defeated Zapata Miralles but lost to Alcaraz, and he didn't make it past the first round in Washington and Atlanta, falling to Shaan. On Wimbledon, Shelton got the win over Daniel but then lost to Djere. Similarly, in London, he passed Wolf but fell to Musetti. Earlier in May, Shelton went on a losing streak, falling in four straight matches. At both the French Open and tournaments in Geneva and Rome, he was knocked out in the first round, losing to Sonego, Cecchinato, and Bublik. In the Challenger in Cagliari, Ben managed to reach the semi-final, overcoming Marozsan and Zeppieri but succumbed to Djere. Shelton could not advance to the second round except at the Australian Open in January, where he surprisingly made it to the quarter-finals, defeating Zhang, Harry, Popyrin, and Wolf, but was defeated by Paul in four sets. Head-to-head The athletes met on 25th January in the Australian Open on a hard court, the match concluded with Paul's victory with a score of 7:6 (8:6), 6:3, 5:7, 6:4. Match prediction Paul - Shelton Paul is having a stable season and feels comfortable on the hard court, in contrast, Shelton, who is class inferior and has only been performing well in Challengers. I believe in the upcoming match, Paul will secure the victory; hence, I'm placing my bet on him.

In the third round of the US Open on hard court, Germany's Alexander Zverev will play against Grigor Dimitrov from Bulgaria. We are betting on Zverev to win with a game handicap of -2.5. Alexander Zverev The 26-year-old Alexander, currently ranked 12th in the world, secured two victories at the US Open against Vukic with a score of 6:4, 6:4, 6:4 and Altmayer 7:6 (7:1), 3:6, 6:4, 6:3. Prior to this, he had a strong performance in Cincinnati, where he reached the semi-finals. There, the player successfully outperformed Dimitrov 6:2, 6:2, Nishioka 7:5, 6:4, Medvedev 6:4, 5:7, 6:4 and Mannarino 6:2, 6:3, but then conceded to Djokovic 6:7 (5:7), 5:7. In the previous tournament in Toronto, Alexander coped with Griekspoor 6:4, 7:6 (7:3), but suffered a defeat against Davidovich Fokina 1:6, 2:6. At the end of July, Zverev clinched a title in the Hamburg tournament, which took place on clay courts. He defeated Molcan 6:0, 6:3, Marterer 6:3, 7:5, Van de Zandschulp 6:3, 6:4, Fils 6:2, 6:4 and Djere 7:5, 6:3. He also participated in the Bastad tournament, where he reached the quarterfinals after defeating Molcan and Monteiro before conceding to Rublev. At Wimbledon, he advanced to the third round, overcoming Broady and Watanuki, but then lost to Berrettini. This season, Alexander reached the semifinals at the Halle tournament, defeated Tsitsipas, Shapovalov, and Harris, but then conceded to Bublik. At the French Open, he advanced to the semifinals, overcoming Harris, Molcan, Tiafoe, Dimitrov and Etcheverria, but then lost to Ruud. In other tournaments this season, he mostly reached the third round. Grigor Dimitrov 32-year-old Grigor Dimitrov, currently ranked 19th in the world, has achieved two victories at this tournament over Molcan, recording 6:7 (9:11), 6:7 (5:7), 6:1, 7:5, 7:6 (11:9) and Murray 6:3, 6:4, 6:1. In Geneva, Dimitrov made it to the finals, after defeats of Carballes Baena 6:1, 6:4, O'Connell 6:7 (5:7), 7:5, 6:4 and Fritz 3:6, 7:5, 7:6 (7:2), but lost to Harris with 7:6, 6:1. This season the player rarely advanced beyond the second round in other championships, with the exception of Rotterdam, where he reached the semifinals, and the Australian Open, where he secured two victories. Head-to-Head The athletes have met six times previously, with Dimitrov only managing a single victory in 2014. Zverev - Dimitrov match prediction Zverev has displayed consistent play and a high class on the court, making him the favourite in the upcoming match. Based on their previous encounters, I believe Alexander has good chances of overcoming Dimitrov.

In the third round of the US Open on hardcourts, Nicolas Jarry from Chile and Alex De Minaur from Australia will combat. I'm with conviction backing De Minaur to claim victory, conferring him a -3.5 game handicap. Nicolas Jarry 27-year-old Nicolas Jarry, who ranks 25th in the world, has claimed two victories at the US Open, snatching wins over Van Assche 6:3, 3:6, 6:2, 7:6 (7:3), and Mikkelsen 4:6, 6:3, 6:3, 6:3. Preceding this, the tennis player confronted a bout of misfortune, losing three out of four matches. In Cincinnati, he triumphed over Safiullin 4:6, 6:3, 6:3, but withdrew from his match against Popyrin and was ejected in the opening round of Toronto after succumbing to Humbert 6:4, 3:6, 4:6. In Los Cabos and Wimbledon, Jarry managed to secure two victories, prevailing over Brouwer, Pacheco Mendes, Cecchinato, and Kubler, before succumbing to Tsitsipas and Alcaraz, respectively. Earlier, Jarry took part in a tournament in Eastbourne, where he fell in the first round to Barrere 3:6, 6:4, 4:6. In Halle he advanced to the quarterfinals, vanquishing Moutet 6:3, 7:5 and Tsitsipas 7:6 (9:7), 7:5, but later was outmatched by Zverev 5:7, 3:6. At the start of June, Jarry claimed victory thrice at the French Open, vanquishing Dellien 6:4, 6:4, 6:2, Paul 3:6, 6:1, 6:4, 7:5, and Giron 6:2, 6:3, 6:7, 6:3, but was vanquished by Ruud 6:7 (3:7), 5:7, 5:7. Jarry showcased extraordinary play and excellent physical form at the Geneva tournaments, where he seized his crown, prevailing over Lajovic, Griekspoor, Ruud, Zverev, and Dimitrov, demonstrating stability and superiority on the court. Moreover, in the current season Jarry played impressively on clay at the Santiago tournament where he secured a win. He prevailed over Varillas, Schwartzman, Hanfmann, Munar, and Etcheverry en route. Alex De Minaur 24-year-old Alex De Minaur, who ranks 13th worldwide, claimed two victories at the US Open. In the first round, his opponent was Skatov, a match that concluded at 6:2, 3:6, 6:1, 7:5. He later vanquished Wu Yibing 6:1, 6:2, 6:1. He trumped Wolf in Cincinnati 6:0, 3:6, 6:1 only to fall to Monfils 5:7, 4:6 later. However, he managed to reach the finals in Toronto. During the championship, he prevailed over Norrie 7:5, 6:4, Diallo 6:4, 7:5, Fritz 7:6 (9:7), 4:6, 6:1, Medvedev 7:6 (9:7), 7:5 and Davidovich Fokina 6:1, 6:3. Nonetheless, he yielded victory to Sinner in the finals 4:6, 1:6. Early in August, De Minaur competed in a championship in Los Cabos where he advanced to the finals. He triumphed over Mansuri 6:4, 6:4, Tirante 6:2, 6:1, Paul 6:4, 3:6, 6:3, and Koepfer 6:2, 6:7 (5:7), 6:1 but fell in the next round to Tsitsipas 3:6, 4:6. In Atlanta he made it only to the second round, besting Kokkinakis 6:3, 6:4 but was defeated by Humbert 6:7 (4:7), 3:6. At Wimbledon he also played two matches, claiming victory over Coppejans but fell next to Berrettini. In June, De Minaur exhibited confident court play at the London championship where he reached the finals. During the tournament, he seized victories over Murray, Schwartzman, Mannarino, and Rune but fell in the final round to Alcaraz. In April, he advanced to the quarterfinals in Barcelona, besting Shevchenko and Dimitrov, only to fall later to Tsitsipas. This season, he also exhibited confident play on hard courts, including the championship in Acapulco where he won the title. During this championship he bested Pacheco Mendes, Berrettini, Daniel, Rune, and Paul. Head-to-head The athletes previously met in 2019 in the Acapulco hard-court tournament, where De Minaur triumphed 7:6 (7:5), 7:6 (7:2). Prediction for the Jarry - De Minaur match De Minaur is having a more stable season and is showcasing a confident play on hard courts. In this upcoming match, he emerges as the favourite, and thus, I'm siding with him for the win.

In the third round of the US Open on hard courts, Arthur Rinderknech from France and Andrey Rublev from Russia will compete. We're betting on a Rublev victory with a handicap of -4.5 games. Arthur Rinderknech 28-year-old Arthur, ranked 73rd in the world, secured two victories in the current tournament over Schwartzman with a score of 6:3, 6:4, 6:2 and Berrettini 6:4, 5:3. Earlier in Winston-Salem, the tennis player lost to Kumar in the first round 3:6, 6:7 (3:7), and in Kitzbuhel advanced to the quarterfinals, defeating Cherundolo 6:7 (3:7), 6:4, 6:2 and Hanfmann with a score of 7:6 (7:3), 6:3, but lost to Thiem 6:4, 3:6, 4:6. At the end of July, Rinderknech claimed the title at the Zug tournament, beating Ferrari 7:6 (7:3), Travaglia 4:6, 6:4, 6:3, Andreev 6:2, 6:2, Rodionov 4:6, 7:5, 6:2 and De Lore 3:6, 6:3, 6:4. However, the tennis player earlier struggled, suffering three consecutive losses; he lost to Bagnis in Gstaad, Mueller at Wimbledon, and Eubanks in Majorca. In late June, Arthur qualified for the Majorca tournament by beating Moelleker, but was defeated by Shelbayh. In the main draw of the tournament, he managed to overcome Ramos and Lestienne. One of the successful tournaments this season was the Challenger in Pau, where Rinderknech advanced to the semi-final without losing a set to Blanch, Royer, and Struff, but lost to Van Assche. Overall this season, his results have been inconsistent, and he has struggled with different types of surfaces, not passing beyond the second round in any of the remaining tournaments. Andrey Rublev 25-year-old Andrey Rublev, ranked 8th in the world, won two matches at the US Open against Cazaux with a score of 6:4, 7:6 (7:5), 6:1 and Monfils 6:4, 6:3, 3:6, 6:1. The player previously suffered three consecutive losses, losing in Cincinnati to Ruusuvuori 6:7 (10:12), 7:5, 6:7 (3:7), in Toronto to McDonald 4:6, 3:6, and in Hamburg Rublev won against Sapa Miralles 5:7, 6:1, 7:6 (9:7), but then lost to Altmaier 2:6, 2:6. However, at the end of July, at the Bastad tournament, Rublev demonstrated good play, starting from the second round and securing the title. His path to success included victories over Kotov 6:3, 7:6 (7:4), Zverev 6:2, 6:3, Cherundolo 7:6 (8:6), 6:7 (7:9), 6:3 and Ruud 7:6 (7:3), 6:0. At Wimbledon in mid-June, Rublev passed four championship rounds and defeated Persells, Karatsev, Goffin, and Bublik, before losing to Djokovic. At the Buddle Challenge, Andrey overcame Auger-Aliassime and Musetti, and he also reached the final in Halle, defeating Wu Yibing, Hanfmann, Griekspoor, and Bautista-Agut, although he lost the final to Bublik. At the French Open, Rublev reached the third round, overcoming Djere and Moutet, but lost to Sonego. This season, he also showcased his talent at the Monte Carlo tournament, where in mid-April he became the champion, with victories over Munar, Khachanov, Struff, Fritz, and Rune. Additionally, Rublev reached the quarter-finals at the Australian Open, the final at the Dubai tournament on hard courts, and the final in Bosnia and Herzegovina on clay. Head to head The athletes have not previously played against each other. Rinderknech - Rublev match prediction Rublev is having a stable season, despite his failures in recent tournaments. Rinderknech, on the other hand, secured two victories in the championship, but one opponent was inferior to him in class, and the other withdrew from the match. In my opinion, the favourite is Rublev, and I am betting on his victory.

In the third round of the US Open, played on a hard court, Zhizhen Zhang of China is set to face Rinky Hijikata of Australia. Betting is favoring Zhang for the win. Zhizhen Zhang 26-year-old Zhang, who is currently ranked 67th in the world, has already claimed two victories at the US Open. In the first round, he bested Wolf with a score of 7:5, 7:5, 6:7 (5:7), 4:6, 6:3, and later overcame Ruud in five sets scoring 6:4, 5:7, 6:2, 0:6, 6:2. Prior to this, Zhang participated in the tournament in Winston-Salem, where he passed Ivashka with a score of 4:6, 7:6 (9:7), 6:2, only to later fall to Fucsovics 4:6, 2:6. At the preceding tournament in Cincinnati, Zhang failed to qualify, having secured only one victory against Kressy with a score of 6:7 (4:7), 6:3, 7:6 (13:11). He then suffered a defeat at the hands of Pospisil scoring 3:6, 3:6, and in Toronto, he exited in the first match, falling to Kokkinakis 5:7, 4:6. Zhang also did not achieve significant results in Kitzbhel; he bested Lajović scoring 6:3, 6:2, but then fell to Thiem 6:1, 3:6, 2:6. In late July, at the Hamburg tournament, Zhang reached the semi-finals, defeating Choinski, Hanfmann, and Altmaier, before losing to Djere in the semi-finals. Unfortunately, at the Gstaad and Wimbledon tournaments, he couldn't surpass the initial rounds, losing to Medvedev and van de Zandschulp with scores of 6:4, 1:6, 4:6 and 6:2, 6:7 (3:7), 6:7 (6:8), 6:3, 2:6 respectively. In June, Zhang exhibited good performance at the Eastbourne tournament, reaching the quarter-finals. Here he overcame Sonego and Kressy, but yielded to Cerndolo. At the French Open in early June, he reached the third round, beating Lajović and Tirante, but then fell to Ruud, and in Madrid, he reached the quarterfinals beating Rodionov, Shapovalov, Norrie and Fritz, but then lost to Karatsev. In the other tournaments of the season, Zhang couldn't pull off any standout results, managing no more than two wins. Rinky Hijikata The 22-year-old Rinky, who is ranked 110th in the world, has won two games at the US Open over Kotov with a score of 7:5, 5:7, 6:3, 7:5 and Fucsovics 6:1, 6:2, 6:1. At the previous championship in Winston-Salem, the tennis player defeated Marchenko 4:6, 6:3, 6:2, but lost to Cilic 2:6, 6:7 (2:7), and in Cincinnati, he couldn't pass the qualification round, losing to Lajović. In mid-August at the Cary Challenger, Rinky reached the quarterfinals by defeating Shimabukuro and Richards, only to then yield to Walton. At Los Cabos, he lost to Isner in the first round. At the Newport and Ilkley tournaments, as well as in Wimbledon's qualification rounds, Rinky managed only one victory. In June, at the tournament in Hertogenbosch, Hijikata exhibited good play, reaching the semi-finals. He overcame Brouwer 6:7 (5:7), 6:3, 6:2, Huesler 2:6, 7:5, 6:3 and McDonald 5:7, 6:3, 6:1, but then lost to Thompson 6:7 (5:7), 3:6. Earlier, during the qualification, he defeated Haase 6:3, 7:5 only to then lose to Berankis 4:6, 4:6. This season, the tennis player also delivered successful performances at the hard-covered court at the Burnie Challenger in early February, where he ultimately claimed the title. Over the course of the tournament, Rinky triumphed over Takahashi, Ellis, McCabe, Shimizu and Duckworth. In April at the Seoul Challenger, Hijikata reached the quarterfinals, vanquishing Shimabukuro and Donskoy but then fell to Chun-Hsin Tseng, and in May in Gwangju, he also reached the quarterfinals, defeating Diallo and Tu, but then lost to Thompson. In other tournaments, the tennis player reached up to the third round maximum. Head-to-head The athletes previously faced off on the 16th of March during the Phoenix Challenger on hard court. The match ended with Zhang clinching the victory with a score of 6:7 (4:7), 6:3, 6:4. Predictions for the Zhang - Hijikata match Zhang confidently handled strong competitors in previous rounds and, in my opinion, is the favorite in the upcoming match, with the outcome of previous encounters also in his favor. I place my wager on Zhang's victory.

In early July at Wimbledon, Paul overpowered Mochizuki and Raonic, but conceded defeat to Lekhecka, and in Eastbourne reached the final by defeating Baez, Wolf and Barrere, but lost to Cerundolo in the final showdown. In the three preceding tournaments, Paul could not get beyond the first round, defeating Bonzi in Stuttgart, Stricker at the French Open and Barrero in Lyon, but subsequently succumbing to Struff, Harris and Nakashima respectively. Also this season, Paul reached the finals on the clay Challengers in Ex-an-Provence and the hard court tournament in Acapulco, and he managed to make it to the semi-finals at the Australian Open. Alejandro Davidovich Fokina 24-year-old Alejandro, currently ranked 21st in the world, claimed two confident victories at the US Open against Hiron with a score of 6:4, 6:4. 6:2 and Cerundolo 6:1, 6:4, 6:3. July started successfully for Davidovich Fokina at Wimbledon, where he beat Fills with a score of 7:6 (7:3), 6:1, 6:2 and Van de Zandschulp with a score of 6:1, 2:6, 6:4, 6:3, but then the tennis player suffered a defeat against Rune with a score of 3:6, 6:4, 6:3, 4:6, 6:7 (8:10). The period leading to this consisted of five consecutive losses, in the Bubble's Challenge Alejandro succumbed to Tsitsipas with a score of 4:6, 4:6 and Auger-Aliassime 3:6, 2:6, in Mallorca - to Kotov 6:2, 3:6, 4:6, and in London - to Lekhecka with a score of 6:7 (4:7), 3:6. In the French Open, Davidovich Fokina managed to get past two first rounds, defeating Fills and Van Asshe, but in the third round, he encountered Novak Djokovic and suffered defeat. In other competitions this season, his appearances usually ended in the second or third round. Head-to-head The athletes had 2 previous meetings, and in all matches, Paul came out victorious. Prediction for the Paul vs Davidovich Fokina match Paul expended much energy in tough matches against Travaglia and Safiullin, and I think he will find it challenging in the upcoming match. At the same time, Davidovich Fokina's situation turned out to be somewhat less strenuous, as he did not drop a single set. There is no clear favourite in this situation, but I expect a drawn-out match and place a wager on Total Over.

The previous five matches for Altmaier were somewhat of a trial as he suffered defeats in four of them. At Wimbledon, he lost to Vukic in the first round, and in Stuttgart, he was defeated by O'Connell. At the French Open, Daniel picked up victories over Huesler and Sinner, but then gave way to Dimitrov, and in Rome he successfully went through the qualification, beating Kovalik and younger Ymer, then he coped with Zeppieri in the main draw of the tournament, but then gave way to Tiafoe. At the end of April at the Madrid tournament, Daniel started from the qualification rounds, where he overcame Balazs, but then lost to Rodionov. However, he got a chance to join the main draw as a "lucky loser" and showed great results, defeating Otte, Hanfmann and Munar, but then gave way to Čorić. It is also worth noting that in mid-April, Daniel won the title at the clay courts Challenger in Sarasota, defeating Damm, Bergs, Diallo, Kuzmanov and Galan. Head-to-head Earlier the athletes met in 2022 within the framework of the Australian Open, concluding with Zverev's victory with a score of 7:6 (7:3), 6:1, 7:6 (7:1). Forecast for the match Zverev - Altmaier Zverev is showing good form and feels confident on hard. He surpasses his opponent in class, and the outcome of their previous meeting is also on his side. Alcaraz demonstrated a strong performance at the French Open in June, reaching the semifinals. During that tournament, he prevailed over Korda, Daniel, Shapovalov, Moutet, and Tsitsipas, but eventually lost to Djokovic. The Rome Open has been his lowest point this season, losing to Marcora in the second round after cruising past Ramos in the first. Alcaraz kicked off May by claiming victory at the Madrid Open and has also previous titles in Barcelona, Indian Wells, and Buenos Aires. Lloyd Harris 26-year-old Lloyd Harris currently ranks 177th in the world and claimed his first victory at the US Open against Paire with a score of 7:6 (7:5), 6:4, 6:4. Harris previously participated in the Cincinnati tournament, falling short in the first round against Purcell with a score of 4:6, 4:6 and advancing to the quarterfinals in Cary Challenger. During the latter tournament, he overcame Mochizuki with a score of 6:7 (4:7), 6:3, 6:2 and Cazaux 6:4, 7:6 (7:4), but finally succumbed to Broady with a score of 3:6, 4:6. He also successfully qualified for the tournament by defeating Yang and Mmoh, however, he fell to Barrere in the first round of Wimbledon with the score of 5:7, 7:6 (7:4), 5:7, 3:6. In June, Harris reached the semifinals in Mallorca, overcoming Vesely 6:7 (3:7), 6:3, 6:3 among others, but ultimately lost to Eubanks with a score of 6:4, 3:6, 6:7 (9:11). Previously, Harris struggled with a string of poor results, losing nine of his last eleven matches. Harris has jousted with several opponents over the year, suffering losses to Shapovalov in Halle, Fils in Hertogenbosch, Zverev at the French Open, and Rinderknech in Lyon amongst others. Currently, he stands as a formidable opponent coming of a strong presence in the Tenerife Challenger semi-finals, defeating Galovic, Passaro, and Marcora. However, his remaining match against Brancaccio had to be forfeited, marking the beginning of a losing streak. Head to Head The athletes have never competed against one another before. Prediction for Alcaraz - Harris match Harris held a firm grip in his opening match, but I believe his tournament will end thereafter. Alcaraz is comfortable on the hard court and enters the upcoming match as the favourite. I expect an overwhelming victory for him.

Besides, in April, the tennis player won the clay tournament in Estoril, getting past Sousa, Baez, Halys and Kecmanovic. In the other tournaments of the current season, in most cases, he stopped at the second round. Zhizhen Zhang 26-year-old Zhang, ranked 67th in the world, scored his first victory at the US Open over Wolf with a score of 7:5, 7:5, 6:7 (5:7), 4:6, 6:3. In June, Zhang showed good results in Eastbourne, reaching the quarterfinals. Here he defeated Sonego and Kressy, but lost to Cerundolo. At the French Open in early June, he advanced to the third round, defeating Lajovic and Tirante, but then lost to Ruud. The May tournament in Madrid also brought encouraging results when he reached the quarterfinals, defeating Rodionov, Shapovalov, Norrie, and Fritz, but losing to Karatsev in the quarterfinals. In the previous Eastbourne Tournament, Paul reached the final, defeating Baez with 6:1, 7:6 (9:7), Wolf 6:4, 4:6, 7:6 (7:2), and Barrere 6:4, 6:3, before losing in the final match to Cerundolo with a score of 4:6, 6:1, 4:6. In his last three tournaments, Paul didnt advance beyond the first round, defeating Bonzi in Stuttgart, Stricker at the French Open, and Barrere in Lyon, but then lost against Struff, Harris, and Nakashima respectively. Also this season, Paul made it to the finals on the clay Challengers in Aix-en-Provence and the hard court tournament in Acapulco, while he reached the semifinals at the Australian Open. Roman Safiullin 26-year-old Roman Safiullin, currently ranked 60th in the world, secured his first tournament victory over Cecchinato with a score of 6:4, 6:2, 6:0. Prior to this, he faced a losing streak and lost three consecutive matches. In tournaments in Winston-Salem and Cincinnati, the tennis player lost the starting matches against Cerundolo 6:7 (5:7), 6:3, 3:6 and Harris with a score of 6:4, 3:6, 3:6. However, earlier at Wimbledon, Roman showcased excellent play and advanced to the quarterfinals. Throughout the tournament, he defeated Bautista-Agut 2:6, 7:6 (9:7), 6:7 (4:7), 6:4, 7:5, Moutet 7:5, 6:3, 7:6 (7:4), Pel 7:6 (7:1), 6:4, 6:0 and Shapovalov 3:6, 6:3, 6:1, 6:3 but subsequently lost to Sinner with a score of 4:6, 6:3, 2:6, 2:6. Another tournament in Halle in June also brought Safiullin successful qualification, but he lost to Struff in the first round afterwards. Safiullin demonstrated good form on clay court tournaments in Rome and Madrid, winning four matches, including two in qualifying matches, and reaching the third rounds. In Rome he beat Sousa, Kopriva, Hiron and Korda, but he lost to Popyrin. After poor performances in Miami, Monte Carlo, and Banja Luka in April, Safiullin got back on track at the Madrid tournament. He got through qualifying rounds defeating Sousa and Ofner, and in the main draw, he overcame Harris and Paul. Nevertheless, in the next match against Zapata Miralles, Roman suffered a defeat. In early February, Safiullin emerged as the winner of the Challenger in Koblenz, defeating Blancaneaux, Escoffier, Vatutin, Collignon, and Pospisil, but he didn't claim more than one victory in other tournaments. Head-to-Head The athletes previously met on April 29 in the Madrid tournament on clay, with the match ending in Safiullin's favour with a score of 6:3, 7:6 (7:3). At the two previous tournaments in Newport and Ilkley, and at the Wimbledon qualifier, Rinky secured only one victory. There, he defeated Brouwer achieving a score of 6:7 (5:7), 6:3, 6:2, Huesler 2:6, 7:5, 6:3, and McDonald 5:7, 6:3, 6:1, but later fell to Thompson with a score of 6:7 (5:7), 3:6. Among Hijikata's successful performances this season, his extraordinary achievement in the Bern Challenger, held on a hard court, is noteworthy. In early February, he managed to beat Takahashi, Ellis, McCabe, Shimizu, and Duckworth. At other tournaments, he typically reached the third round at most. In late April, during the Seoul Challenger, Rinky reached the quarter-finals, defeating Shimabukuro and Donskoy, but later fell to Chun. At the beginning of May, in Gwangju, Hijikata, unfortunately, fell to Thompson in the quarter-finals after previously beating Diallo and Tu. Marton Fucsovics 31-year-old Marton Fucsovics, ranked 57th in the world, accomplished his first tournament victory against Korda, scoring 7:6 (7:4), 4:6, 7:6 (7:1), 4:6, 6:4. He was able to win a match against Zhang with a score of 6:4, 6:2, in Winston-Salem prior to it, but was later defeated by Korda, securing 6:7 (5:7), 3:6. Earlier, he failed to qualify for the Cincinnati tournament, losing to Shevchenko, scoring only 5:7, 4:6. In late July, Fucsovics participated in the Segovia Challenger, where he reached the quarter-finals. He then won the qualifying match for the tournament by defeating Vessels 6:3, 6:1, and Celikbilek 6:4, 6:4. Marton participated in the French Open in May, where he first defeated Grenier 6:3, 5:7, 6:1, 6:3 in the opening round but later lost to Djokovic 6:7 (2:7), 0:6, 3:6. Apart from the Indian Wells Championship, where he reached the final 1/8, Fucsovics did not achieve more than two victories in any of the other tournaments this season. He beat Wolf, De Minaur, and Molcan, but later lost to Fritz. At the start of the season, Marton won the Canberra Challenger on hard court. Head-to-Head The athletes have not played against each other before. Match Prediction: Hijikata - Fucsovics Despite his victory over Korda, Fucsovics is having an inconsistent season, with only four victories in his last seven matches on this surface. Conversely, Hijikata overturned Kotov and is expected to put up a challenge against Marton. The bet is placed on a total over.

In the first round of the US Open on hard court, Russia's Roman Safiullin squares off against Italy's Marco Cecchinato. We're betting on a Safiullin victory with a -7.5 games handicap. Roman Safiullin 25-year-old Roman Safiullin, currently 61st in the world rankings, comes into the tournament with a string of three defeats. In both Winston-Salem and Cincinnati, the tennis player lost in the initial rounds to Cerundolo with a score of 6:7 (5:7), 6:3, 3:6 and Harris 6:4, 3:6, 3:6. However, prior to this, at Wimbledon, Roman delivered excellent results and advanced to the quarter-finals. Throughout the tournament, he claimed victories against Bautista-Agut with a score of 2:6, 7:6 (9:7), 6:7 (4:7), 6:4, 7:5, Moutet 7:5, 6:3, 7:6 (7:4), Pella 7:6 (7:1), 6:4, 6:0, and Shapovalov with a score of 3:6, 6:3, 6:1, 6:3, but later lost to Sinner 4:6, 6:3, 2:6, 2:6. At the end of June, Safiullin competed in the tournament in Mallorca, and in the qualifying matches, he defeated Moro Canas with a score of 7:5, 6:1 and McCabe with a score of 7:5, 4:6, 7:6 (7:5). Next, in the main draw of the tournament, he overcame Shelbayh with a score of 6:1, 6:4, but lost to Harris with a score of 6:7 (5:7), 3:6. At the end of June at the tournament in Halle, Safiullin also successfully passed the qualifiers, but then lost to Struff. Safiullin has shown good form on clay court tournaments, he has claimed 4 victories, in two qualifiers, and reached the third rounds in both Rome and Madrid. In Rome, he defeated Sousa, Copriva, Hirona, and Korda, but lost to Popyrin afterwards. After unsuccessful performances in Miami, Monte-Carlo, and Banja Luka in April, Safiullin showed his good form at the tournament in Madrid. He successfully passed the qualifier, defeating Sousa and Ofner, and in the main draw he claimed victories against Harris and Paul. However, in the next match against Zapata Miralles, Roman suffered a defeat. In early February, Safiullin claimed the title at the Koblenz Challenger, defeating Blankano, Escoffier, Vatutin, Collignon, and Pospisil. Marco Cecchinato 30-year-old Marco Cecchinato, currently 109th in the world rankings, has faced struggles since the end of May and has won just one match out of the last 12. In Winston-Salem, Banja Luka, and Kitzbhel, the tennis player lost in the first rounds to Purcell with a score of 4:6, 1:6, Madaras 2:6, 1:6, and Galan with a score of 2:6, 2:6. Earlier, Marco participated in the tournament in Umag, where he battled with Shevchenko, losing to him with a score of 4:6, 7:6 (7:0), 6:3, however in the subsequent match against Sonego he suffered a loss with a score of 1:6, 6:7 (7:9). This happened after a period of disappointment, during which Marco suffered a streak of seven consecutive defeats. At the tournament in Bastad, Cecchinato lost to Kotov with a score of 1:6, 2:6, at the Challenger in Braunschweig - to Hassan with a score of 5:7, 6:7 (1:7), at Wimbledon - to Harris 6:4, 2:6, 4:6, 1:6, in Eastbourne - to McDonald 3:6, 3:6, in Heilbronn - to Santillan 5:7, 3:6, and at the French Open, Marco faced Van de Zandschulp, losing to him with a score of 1:6, 1:6, 3:6. In mid-May, Cecchinato competed in the Rome tournament, where he reached the third round, beating McDonald and Bautista-Agut, but subsequently lost to Hanfmann. At the Madrid tournament, Cecchinato successfully made it through the qualifier, defeating Skatov and Zeppieri, and in the main draw he overcame Fucsovics, but suffered a defeat at the hands of De Minaur. In early April, at the clay-court tournament in Estoril, Marco advanced to the semi-finals, overcoming Schwartzman, Fognini, and Davidovich Fokina, but lost to Kecmanovic. Head to Head The athletes have not previously played against each other. Prediction for the Safiullin - Cecchinato match Given Marco Cecchinato's performance on hard court, it's clear that Roman Safiullin is the favourite in this match. Even on clay, which is considered Cecchinato's preferred surface, his results are less than desirable, having only one hard-court victory over the past two years, and that was against an out-of-form Basilashvili. In contrast, Safiullin has shown good results at Wimbledon, reaching the quarter-finals, and I believe he will triumph in the upcoming match.

In the first round of the US Open on hard surface, two Americans, Steve Johnson and Taylor Fritz, are slated to play. I'm betting on Fritz to win with a game handicap of -6. Steve Johnson At 33 years of age, Steve, who ranks 186th in the world, recently played in the Stanford Challenger, losing in the first match to Watanuki with a score of 5:7, 7:5, 4:6. Before that, the tennis player claimed a title at the hard court Lexington Challenger. Johnson bested Harris, Spizzirri, Blanch, Sandgren, and Cazaux, not losing a single set in all five victorious matches. In late July, at the Newport Championships, Johnson triumphed over Chun with a score of 6:2, 6:3, then lost to Umberto 4:6, 4:6, and later suffered a defeat in his first match at the Chicago Challenger against Basava Reddy with a score of 3:6, 6:2, 4:6. Early in July, Johnson clinched a title at the hard court Bloomfield Challenger. He beat Matthew with a score of 7:6 (9:7), 6:4, McCabe 6:4, 6:2, Utiyama 6:4, 6:7 (0:7), 7:6 (7:4), Sculley 6:4, 6:2 and Kukushkin with a score of 6:4, 6:7 (7:9), 7:6 (7:4). Prior to this, Steve had a dispiriting season, winning only 5 out of 18 matches. At Wimbledon, he failed to pass the qualifying round and conceded to Stricker with a score of 5:7, 4:6, at the Nottingham Challenger he was defeated by Ferry with a score of 6:4, 3:6, 3:6, and at the French Open, he was bested by Bergs in a qualifying match with a score of 4:6, 4:6. In early February, Steve reached the quarterfinals of the Cleveland Challenger, overcoming Foretek and Silig but then lost to Kovachevich. In other tournaments, he was able twice to pass the second round, but in most cases he either lost in the first round or failed to qualify. Taylor Fritz 25-year-old Fritz, who holds the 9th place in the world rankings, participated in the Cincinnati tournament where he made it to the quarterfinals. He bested Lehecka with a score of 7:6 (16:14), 6:2, Sonego with a score of 6:4, 7:6 (7:1) and Lajovic. Against Lajovic, Fritz was comfortably leading with a score of 5:0 in the first set when his opponent decided to retire the game. Fritz then went up against Djokovic, suffering a defeat with a score of 0:6, 4:6. Earlier, at the Toronto tournament, Fritz triumphed over Humbert with a score of 7:6 (9:7), 3:6, 6:3 but lost to De Minaur in the next match with a score of 6:7 (7:9), 6:4, 1:6. In the previous Washington tournament, Fritz managed to reach the semifinals, defeating Swajda 6:3, 6:3, Murray 6:7 (2:7), 6:3, 6:4 and Thompson 6:3, 6:3, only to later lose to Griekspoor 6:3, 3:6, 2:6. At the Atlanta tournament, Taylor played confidently, securing a tournament victory. In the process, he defeated Wu Yibin with a score of 6:4, 7:6 (7:5), Nishikori 6:4, 6:2, Wolf 6:3, 7:5 and Vukic 7:5, 6:7 (5:7), 6:4. However, not all of Fritz's performances can be deemed successful, at Wimbledon he managed to defeat Hanfmann, but suffered defeat against Imer, and in Eastbourne, he failed to overcome the first round, losing to McDonald. At the London tournament, Taylor started with a win over Zapata Miralles, but then conceded to Mannarino, and in mid-June at the Stuttgart competitions, he bested Karatsev, only to lose to Ficovich later. In the early season, Fritz showed good results in tournaments in Munich, Monte-Carlo, Acapulco and Dallas, reaching the semifinals. In February, he won the Delray Beach tournament going over Gomez, Mannarino, McDonald and Kecmanovic. Head-to-head The sportsmen have previously met 10 times, and their match record stands at 5:5. Johnson - Fritz match prediction Taylor Fritz is regarded as the clear favourite in the upcoming match thanks to his experience, current form and class. Johnson previously triumphed over Taylor, but that was two years ago and I believe he won't be able to put up a fight now. I back Fritz to win.

This season, Sinner has also shown impressive results on hard courts, reaching finals in Rotterdam and Miami, as well as the semi-finals in Indian Wells and Monte Carlo. Sinner claimed victory on the indoor hard court in Montpellier earlier in the season. Head-to-head The two athletes have never competed against each other previously. Match Prediction: Hanfmann - Sinner Sinner is confidently performing on hard courts and secured the title at the Toronto tournament. Hanfmann, on the other hand, has been struggling for the last two months, and I suspect he will not be able to unsettle the consistent Sinner. My prediction is a victory for Sinner.
