He has lost in the first rounds: in Winston-Salem - to Draper 3:6, 1:6, at Wimbledon - to Cerundolo 7:5, 3:6, 3:6, 4:6, in Eastbourne - to Baes 3:6, 4:6, at Ilkley Challenger - to Tirante 6:4, 3:6, 4:6, and was unsuccessful in qualifying for the Cincinnati tournament, succumbing to Galan with a score of 6:7 (5:7), 6:4, 5:7.
