On Saturday the 13th of April, a match of the Spanish Segunda will take place between Levante and Amorebieta.
The Frogs stand at the ninth place in the league table and are step by step getting nearer to the division top. In the last five fixtures, they defeated Zaragoza 2:1 and Elche 3:2, whilst drawing with Real Valladolid 0:0, Burgos 1:1 and Andorra 0:0. This season, the team has twelve victories, seven defeats and fifteen draws under their belt.
Currently, the visitors are positioned on the twentieth line of the Segunda's ranking. The lads had a catastrophic start to the season yet recently started to show decent form and win points. In the past encounters, they handled Racing Ferrol 3:1, Sporting Gijon 3:1 and Andorra 1:0, and scrapped a draw 1:1 away with Alcorcon. The club has eight wins, sixteen defeats and ten draws to their credit in the 34 match-days of the tournament.
Throughout history, the teams have met each other only twice. One win for Amorebieta 1:0 and a 1:1 stalemate were recorded.
Amorebieta is finally on the rise, beginning to demonstrate some results, but Levante is also currently on an upswing. I would take a slight risk here and back: 'both teams to score – yes' at 2.10. I think that anything can be expected in this clash (as in any Segunda game), but the visitors now have a relatively high average goal tally per match, so they are perfectly capable to ambush Levante even on the counter-attack.
