Over the past weekend, the yellow-and-oranges failed to defeat Sevilla at home (0:0), a week after they were defeated 2:0 by Las Palmas.

It is important to note that Valencia's home performance impresses: the visitors have scored 24 points in 12 matches at Mestalla, while they struggle away from their home soil, having scored only 12 points in 13 away matches. A year ago, the "bats" ranked 16th in La Liga, which was their worst result since the 1985/86 campaign.
