The final of the Russian Super League will take place on Tuesday, 30 April at 15:00. Moscow's Dinamo will be facing off against Kazan's Zenit. Dinamo Dinamo has so far failed to find a winning strategy against Kazan's 'Zenit', an outcome many had predicted. The last two games were almost one-sided: 0:3, 1:3. Dinamo has put up a decent performance in the playoffs, but it's clearly not enough to claim the top spot. Zenit 'Zenit' needs no introduction. They are the nearly unbeatable leaders of the Super League with no worthy opponents this season. First, they overcame 'Enisey' 2:0 in the meetings, then 'Fakel' 3:0, and currently leading 2:0 in the series against Moscow's 'Dynamo'. Head-to-Head 'Zenit' last lost to 'Dynamo' in 2022 with a score of 2:3 (in a very close match), and is currently on a streak of eight confident victories (3:1, 3:0, 3:1, 3:2, 3:0, 3:0, 3:0, 3:1). Match prediction I don't think Kazan's 'Zenit' will waste time with 'Dynamo'. It would be easier to quickly close the match 3:0 and go on a well-deserved rest with the cup in their pocket. In theory, one could simply take a W2 at 1.43, as the odds are pretty decent, but it's better to try and catch a good odd live, rather than betting in the pre-match.

Verona The hosts have been looking remarkable in the playoffs with hardly any mistakes lately. They conceded to Piacenza in a close battle with a score of 2:3, but took a decisive victory against Civitanova (3:0), Modena (3:0, 3:1), and Chisterna (3:0). Civitanova However, the visitors, initially considered amongst the favorites to win the championship, ended up losing to Monza by 2:3. The situation worsened further: 0:3 against Padova (an underdog of the division) and 0:3 against Verona. Still, they managed to improve in the recent matches, overcoming Chisterna (3:0) and Piacenza (3:1, 3:2). Head-to-Head In the last five encounters, Verona came out on top twice (3:0, 3:2), while Civitanova triumphed three times (3:0, 3:0, 3:1). Prediction for the matchVerona -Civitanova In their last playoff meeting, Civitanova performed poorly. I don't think anything could have significantly changed in two weeks. The odds favor Verona to win at 1.82, a decrease from the first match's odds, which hovered around 2.60. Given that they are playing at home, this is reasonable. I'll go for a simple victory for Verona at 1.86, as the hosts clearly have the upper hand for the fifth spot in the table.

The second match in the Russian Super League final between Zenit Kazan and Dynamo Moscow will take place on 26th April at 16:30. Zenit There is not much to say about Zenit Kazan. At the moment, the team practically has no worthy opponents in the division. The Kazanians are a cut above, which was proven in the last match, thrashing Dynamo Moscow 3:0, and previously Fakel (3:0, 3:0, 3:0). I don't think the hosts will relax after the first meeting. Rather, they will try to quickly close 3:0 and receive the deserved cup. Dynamo The visitors, on the other hand, gnawed their way into the final, first defeating Zenit Saint Petersburg 2:1 in matches, and then Belogorie 3:1. However, it is unlikely to be enough to claim victory in this confrontation. From the first second, the Muscovites were shown that they were out of their depth here, but second place is also quite honourable. Head-to-Head Since 2023, the teams have met each other seven times, with Zenit emerging as the winner in all matches (3:0, 3:0, 3:0, 3:2, 3:1, 3:0, 3:1). Predictions and bet for the match The odds for the final are overwhelming, but for good reason. On Thursday, 25th of April the final of the Italian Superleague between Perugia and Monza will take place. Perugia The hosts showed an excellent level of play in the first match of finals, however, they suffered a disappointing defeat with a score of 2:3 while away. While Perugia still remains a top-tier team, they have their fair share of mishaps, and the team doesn't look that strong. Monza The team is by no means star-studded, but they managed to reach the finals on sheer character. They first eliminated Cucine Lube, then Trentino, and are still trying to maintain their game approach despite being major underdogs in this match up. They looked solid while away, but then slipped off after the first set. At home, they made a comeback and snatched a victory. All in all, they have a decent chance of winning. Head to Head In the last five matches between the teams, Perugia proved to be the winner four times (3:1, 3:1, 3:0, 3:0), while Monza only won once (3:2). Predictions for the match Perugia -Monza Too little faith is put in the away team with odds of around 4.00. I reckon a fair bet would be to put Monza at around 2.60-2.80. I'll take a little risk and opt for the following bet in this match: handicap2 by sets (1.5) for 2.5. The away team seem determined to win and will hold on for every opportunity, and Perugia may just present it to them as their gameplay is far from perfect.

The third fixture in the Italian Super League between Trentino and Milan will take place this Wednesday at 21:30 GMT. Venue Pala Trento Arena Trentino The club looked shoddy on their last away trip to Milan, only managing to secure two sets. Their home performance was also unimpressive despite a 3:2 victory. No one could have anticipated this slump from the clear favourite towards the end of the season it seems that Trentino took their foot off the gas too soon and it greatly backfired. Milan As for the visitors, they've mostly aimed for the top-5 rather than the top-3, but now there is a golden opportunity to break into the best trio. Milan's temperament is solid. Overall, the team is in decent form, not exactly dazzling, but fairly stable. Head-to-Head Since 2023, the teams have played six matches against each other, with Trentino bagging five victories (3:2, 3:0, 3:1, 3:1, 3:2), and Milan winning once (3:2). Match Prediction and Bet In the first match, the odds for the home team were appealing at about 1.60, but now taking their victory at 1.35 doesn't make much sense due to the considerable flaws in their play. Milan performed well during their away match, so the home court advantage shouldn't be a significant factor here. I believe this match promises to be as close as the last two, therefore I will take the handicap 2 by sets (+1,5) at 1.90.

Resovia Rzeszow and ONICO Warszawa will face each other in the first match of the playoff for the third place in the Polish PlusLiga Volleyball League today. Resovia Rzeszow The volleyball club Resovia Rzeszow finished the regular championship of the Polish PlusLiga in fourth place with 22 wins and 8 losses, showing resilience and the capability to fight to the end in the playoffs. In the quarterfinals, the team barely passed Gdansk, winning two tense matches with 3:1 and 3:2 scores. The second match proved to be particularly tough, with Jeszew having to come back from 1:2 down in sets.However, in the semifinals, Resovia Rzeszow faced a serious challenge in the form of league leader Jastrzebski Wegiel, who twice beat them in tie-breaks with a score of 2:3 in each of the matches. Despite the fact that in the first match Resovia Rzeszow won the first set, and in the second they led with 2:1 in sets, the team couldn't keep the advantage and finish the matches in their favour. Besides their performance in the league, Rzeszow also achieved significant success on the international level, winning the CEV Cup. In the finals, the team effortlessly beat German Luneburg with a total game score of 6:0 in sets.Over the last month, Jeszew suffered only three defeats: two in the PlusLiga semi-finals and one in the regular season against Barkom with a score of 1:3. Despite these setbacks, the team is preparing for the match for the third place, determined to demonstrate their resilience and the ability to finish the season on a high note. ONICO Warszawa The ONICO Warszawa finished third in the regular season of the Polish volleyball PlusLiga. The team ended the primary season with 20 victories and 5 losses, which allowed them to reach the quarterfinals. There, in the first match, Project Warsaw soundly beat LUK Lublin with a score of 3:1, but they lost on the road with a score of 0:3, only taking the victory in the golden set with a score of 15:12.In the semifinals against Zawiercie, the ONICO Warszawa team faced serious challenges. In the first meeting they lost with a score of 0:3, and in the second they conceded with a score of 1:3, with 4 of the 6 lost sets being lost by a large margin. This emphasizes a noticeable difference in the level of play between ONICO Warszawa and their rival, who demonstrated superiority in key moments of the match.February proved to be a month of significant international success for the Project, as they won the Challenge Cup, in the final of which they twice defeated Italian Monza with a score of 3:1. Verona Verona is looking outstanding in the play-off stage, sweeping their opponents effortlessly. They toppled "Kucine-Lube" 3:0, "Modena" 3:0 and "Chisterna" 3:0, with only a narrow defeat 2:3 against "Piacenza". Verona is a huge favourite in this face-off, and I believe rightly so. If the hosts are in the right mindset, they might just close it out with a clean sweep 3:0. Modena The guests gave a solid run throughout the tournament, however, their recent form is a room for concern. They lost to "Trentino" 0:3, "Piacenza" 1:3, though they managed to outrank "Padova" 3:1 in the previous stage, albeit a rather weak team. Modena recently has had too many flawed performances. Head-to-Head Since 2023, the two clubs faced each other five times. "Verona" came out on top three times (3:0, 3:0, 3:2), with "Modena" securing victories twice (3:2, 3:1). Betting Prediction for the Match Considering the distribution of power ahead of the game, I predict "Verona" should come out as victors, rather comfortably at that. I'm going for HANDICAP1 in sets (-1.5) at 1.5, as I can't see how Modena could pull off a surprise with their current form.

Milano The team looked quite well on away, hence they are slight favourites in this match. Losing 2:3 away isn't a disgrace. I believe that they will be even more intimidating on their home ground. At the moment, the team is sixth, but they have already secured at least fourth place. Trentino The club has been looking great over the course of the season, but their encounter with "Monza" changed the balance of power. "Trentino" was leading 2:0 in the series and it seemed like an easy victory for them, but not quite. They lost three matches in a row, and now they are fighting for the third place only. In the initial encounter with "Milan", they seemed quite mediocre, although they managed to pull off a victory. Head-to-Head The teams have met five times since 2023, with "Trentino" winning all the encounters (3:2, 3:0, 3:1, 3:2, 3:2). Match predictionMilano -Trentino Trentino are currently in a dreadful form, yet they managed to secure the initial game. Milano in turn also make many mistakes, but they are not exactly claiming to be one of the top teams of Italy, unlike their opponents, for whom such performance is unacceptable. Berlin The team looked dreadful in the previous final matches, considering the high expectations placed on them at the start. Berlin's odds were around 1.30 and have stayed there, though it's unclear why. Yes, they played somewhat decently at home but utterly lost on the road. Currently, the club is in the leading position, yet it could easily lose it. Friedrichshafen Many did not expect such a performance in the finals from this squad, even though they shouldn't have been overlooked. In the previous stages, they defeated Duven and Giesen, so they aren't unwelcome guests here, as it could have seemed at first glance. Head-to-Head In the last five encounters, Berlin has claimed victory three times (3:0, 3:0, 3:2), with Friedrichshafen winning twice (3:1, 3:2). Match predictionBerlin -Friedrichshafen It's about time for Berlin to give their all in this match, or else what was the point of making it to the finals. However, Friedrichshafen has proven to be a very stubborn team. I reckon the hosts should secure a victory, but the match is likely to be close, so I will take Asian handicap +2 by sets at odds of 1.64 on Friedrichshafen .

They first won against Verona (currently a rather strong team) 3:0 in matches, then Milan 3:1, again looking excellent. Overall, the team has few weak spots to exploit. However, their matches often end with TO 3.5 sets, so a 3:0 win is not their forte. Monza Initially, the visitors were not even considered as Superliga finalists. Everyone predicted Trentino to win, but Monza managed to come back from a 0:2 deficit in the series and win 3:2. Such a victory could inspire the team, so they should not be written off in this match. At present, the club ranks fifth in the league table. Head-to-Head Since 2023, the teams have met five times. Perugia have won four matches (3:1, 3:0, 3:0, 3:0) and Monza came out stronger once (3:2). Match predictionPerugia -Monza The bookmakers again do not have faith in the visitors even though they've shown they will fight to the end. For me, Perugia are the favourites here, but giving them the odds of 1.21 for a win seems rather unfair to the guests. I would simply take the second set handicap (2.5) at 1.64, as I believe Monza is quite capable of clinging onto a set or perhaps even a couple.

On Wednesday, the 17th of April the third-place match of the Italian Superleague will take place, featuring Trentino and Milan. Trentino Trentino's game form has shown a significant downslide of late. During the previous stage, the hosts faced Monza and sustained a 2:3 defeat in the meetings, even though they initially led 2:0. It seems Trentino relaxed too early. They lost a close tie and then couldn't bounce back. Now, they'll have to suffice with the third-place spot, despite being a strong team on paper for their division. Milan The Milanese initially beat Piace 3:2 in their meetings, and then faced Perugia. However, this time, they couldn't muster a victory, ceding to a 1:3 loss. Milan is a mid-table team grappling with several game-play issues. The team does not appear incredibly stable, although they occasionally surprise. Despite this, I don't believe they're in for a shock result. Head-to-head Since 2022, the teams have met each other on seven occasions. Trentino triumphed in six of the matches (3:0, 3:1, 3:2, 3:2, 3:2, 3:0) whilst Milan came out on top just once (3:1). Match prediction I reckon that Trentino have taken lessons from their previous series with Monza. Milan simply doesn't impress as a team deserving of the third spot in the tournament table. The hosts absolutely need to command the initiative immediately and secure a confident victory in the opening game, especially since they will be playing at home. I'll take a straightforward home win at 1.52 as I don't view the visitors as victors in this showdown.

In the last two matches, they exhibited their full prowess, defeating Kuchine-Lube 3:0 (a tournament favourite), followed by a 3:0 victory over Modena. Verona looks tremendously solid both at home and away matches. Currently, the team holds the seventh position in the league table. Cisterna On the other hand, the visitors do not appear to be particularly strong adversaries. In most encounters against the division's tops, they lost abysmally: Monza 0:3, Piacenza 1:3, Modena 2:3, and Kuchine Lube 0:3. In the penultimate stage, they managed to turn the tide and outplayed Padova 3:1. Cisterna holds the ninth position in the division. Head-To-Head In the last five matches, Verona took over all five times (3:0, 3:0, 3:1, 3:2, 3:2). Match predictionVerona -Cisterna I'm genuinely impressed with how Verona has been performing in the playoffs, especially the match with Kuchine-Lube. Cisterna, however, hasn't been particularly impressive with its results. Yes, they demonstrated their character in the match with Padova, but I don't think it'll be enough to secure a win. The bookies seem to agree, setting the home team's odds at 1.21. I would opt for a handicap1 by sets (-2) at 1.68.

Zenit The visitors are league-table neighbours with Kuzbass, but recently they've been displaying an impressive level of play. In the first encounter, they clinched a 3:0 victory without giving Kuzbass any chances, and mustered a 3:1 win in the second match. They continue to be in splendid form, but there are some warning bells. In the first two matches, Trentino defeated Monza hands down (3:0, 3:1), and everyone thought it would be an easy 3:0 sweep for the favourite. However, Monza managed to reverse the course of the confrontation and on character scraped two games (3:2, 3:1). This season Trentino boasts nineteen victories with only two losses. Monza The team currently occupies the fifth place in the tournament table. In the previous stage, they ousted Kucine-Lube 3:2 in matches (another tournament favourite), so Monza truly can surprise any opponent. The club's tournament account holds thirteen victories and nine defeats over twenty-two matches. Head-to-Head In 2024, the teams played six matches together, with Trentino winning three (3:1, 3:0, 3:0) and Monza also claiming three victories (3:1, 3:2, 3:2). Match prediction After trailing 0:2 in matches, no one had faith in them, but they believed in themselves. Monza turned around to level 2:2 and in the deciding game should give their utmost. On the other hand, its high time for Trentino to come together and show their real game. I think it's safe to take the handicap 2 (+2) on sets at 1.6, too good an odd for such an outcome.

They went into the previous match with Moscow's Dynamo as noticeable underdogs at 2.60, but showed character to snatch a 3:2 victory, and earlier they briskly brushed aside Kuzbass with a 3:0 score. This season, the team has claimed twenty-three wins against seven losses. Dynamo The visitors, currently fourth in the Super League standings, have recently been playing inconsistently. Yes, they overcame St. Petersburg's Zenit 2:1 in the previous round, but each set was tense, and victory could have gone either way. The situation was similar with Belogorie, but the luck did not smile on the Muscovites. In 30 tournament matches, Dynamo has twenty-two victories and eight defeats. Head-To-Head In the last five meetings, Moscow's Dynamo has a slight edge, with three victories (3:1, 3:0, 3:0), compared to Belogorie's two wins (3:2, 3:2). Match prediction Initially, the bookmakers made Belogorie the favourites at 1.80, with Moscow's Dynamo success estimated at 1.95. After a day, the odds on the Muscovites dropped significantly to 1.73. I would back a Dynamo victory here, as they should put forth a maximum effort in this match to avoid a 0:2 knockout. It might be worthwhile to wait a bit and catch tastier odds in the live action.
