Today, within the framework of the Italian volleyball Superleague, Trentino and Milano will compete. Trentino Trentino is one of the shining leaders of the Italian volleyball Superleague. The season for them has been quite successful: out of 17 games, they have won in 14 matches and suffered only 1 defeat in the championship. This defeat came from Modena, where Trentino lost with a scoreboard of 1:3 sets. However, after this defeat, the team has shown impressive results, clinching 6 consecutive victories in the championship, the Country Cup, and the Champions League, without ceding a single set to their opponents. In the latest Champions League match, regardless of losing to the Polish club ZAKSA in the tiebreak with a score of 9:15, Trentino continues to hold leading positions in their group with a 5-1 result, which is also comprised of TOURS VB, ACH Volley Ljubljana, and ZAKSA. Milano Italian volleyball team Milano is acting out as a mid-ranker this season. After a successful period at the end of the year, where the team secured 6 consecutive Superleague and CEV Cup victories defeating such teams as Piacezna, Modena, Perugia, Taranto, and PAOK twice, recently Milano has been experiencing a significant slump. Over the last 5 matches, Milano underwent 4 defeats, dealing a substantial blow to their standing in the Superleague. The 0:3 loss to Ravenna in the CEV Cup and two crushing 5-set losses to Piacenza and Lube Civitanova particularly stood out.At present, Milano is 5th in the Superleague with 8 victories and 7 defeats. In the CEV Cup, the team was eliminated in the round of 16, losing to Ravenna without putting up much of a fight. Head-to-head Over the recent 10 matches in the Italian Championship and the Country Cup, Trentino only lost twice to Milano with a scoreboard of 1:3 sets. In the first round of the current season, Trentino was stronger away - 25:22, 21:25, 25:19, 25:16. Prediction for the Match Trentino - Milano Trentino is having a stunning season, both in Eurocups and home matches, and there will be no problems for them against the sinking-in-January Milano. I'm backing the hosts' handicap in sets (-2.5). Look for an easy 3-set win.

Hello there! The 18th round of the PlusLiga volleyball is set to delight us with a derby in the city of Lubin, where Politechnica will take on Cuprum. The teams are far apart in the standings, dealing with different tasks, yet they are united by the need for victories, especially applicable to the charges of Pawel Rusek. Politechnica Lubin This season, Massimo Botti's team is getting many things right. Politechnica has plenty of basic wins based on class as well as sensational successes, such as managing to beat 'Kedzierzyn-Kozle' away and shake the nerves of several championship leaders. The most important thing is that Politechnica Lubin takes its points, essentially bringing them a chance to reach the playoffs and earn a ticket to the European cups. In the last round, Bottis volleyball players failed to outplay 'Barkom-Kazhany', losing (1:3), with all lost parties 'Luk' conceding by a -2 point difference, hence the Ukrainians took this win, albeit with difficulty. By the way, in the 1st round, the volleyball players from Lubin also lost to 'Kazhany Barkom', but in five sets. Let's take a glance at the list of Politechnica's players. Alexander Ferreira is usually impressive - Mateusz Malinowski, who had a series of unsuccessful matches, has also picked up again. Let's see how Massimo Botti's volleyball players will play this game defensively as there were many complaints in the last match.Cuprum There is no reason to think that Cuprum will improve its results this year. Pavel Rusek's team loses to everyone in a row, having won only 3 matches out of 17 this season. In the last round, Cuprum lost to 'Skra Belchatow', starting the match with success in the 1st set, but then the game was on a downward trajectory for the club from Lubin. Rusek has a decent roster at his disposal, but not such to confidently compete even for a place in the middle of the table. 'Cuprum' has a constant attack leader - Jake Hejns, who will most likely move to a club that matches his skill level next season. Wojciech Ferens also attacks effectively from time to time, though not always a noticeable figure in Lubin club matches. There is no order in 'Cuprum' game, so in this derby with 'Luk' there is nothing for Pavel Rusek's volleyball players to catch. Head-to-head In the 3rd round, Politechnica Lubin won with a score (3:2), having given away two sets to 'Cuprum' as presents. Match prediction: Politechnica Lubin - Cuprum There is a huge difference in class between the teams from Lubin nowadays. It seems to me that Politechnica will win easily, so I'll opt for a bet with a handicap by sets (-2) in the match.

Today in the PlusLiga volleyball league. The GKS Katowice team is set to host ONICO Warszawa at home. Although the hosts have been improving, they just can't seem to climb higher than the 14th place in the league table, while the club from the capital is currently 3rd, having just started the year in the leading position. GKS Katowice The team from southern Poland has been playing quite quality volleyball, trying to win key matches. Out of their past five games in the PlusLiga, Grzegorz Slava's boys have only lost once. However, such a string of victories had no impact on the tournament standing of "GKS Katowice". The single misstep in this short series was a trip to Lubin, where the local "Luk" didn't allow their guests from the south to win even a set on their court. In the previous round, "GKS Katowice" played well against "Gdańsk", and I had predicted that Grzegorz Slava's volleyball players wouldn't be able to impose their game on an adversary from the group of main playoff contenders. The lineup of "GKS Katowice" is quite strong. Lukasz Vasina proved effective in the game against "Gdańsk", despite suggestions that he would miss this away match. Davide Saitta worked hard in defence, and in attack, Jakub Jaros acted excellently, racking up points thanks to deft strikes through the block. The "GKS Katowice" team need to aim to score any available points for the table, trying to move away from the outsiders' zone. With the club from Warsaw, they will have to work hard in defence. The block must be as productive as never before, otherwise the "Project's" attack will be successful. ONICO Warszawa It seems that the volleyball players from Warsaw do not lose all that often, yet they still sit in the 3rd place in the PlusLiga table, with Resovia Rzeszow right behind them, which ONICO lost to in the last round at their home arena. In contrast, everything is going splendidly for Piotr Graban's team in the Challenge Cup. Project Warszawa made it to the semi-finals of the third most significant Eurocup, by defeating Bucharest's "Steaua" with an aggregate score of (6:0). In the semi-finals, the volleyball players from Poland's capital will compete in a two-match confrontation against Finland's Akaa. Perhaps ONICO Warszawa got lucky with the draw because the other semi-final pair is much tougher. If we look through the lineup of the capital's team, we'll once again credit Kevin Tilly, who consistently performs slightly above average and Bartlomiej Bolondz excels in attack, he's arguably the 'Project Warszawa's' irreplaceable forward. GKS Katowice indeed look promising, and therefore, the leaders from the capital need to understand that they won't be given an easy match in the south of the country. They need to step up their game and prove their ambition to reach the No. 1 spot in the PlusLiga in all possible ways. Head-to-head In the second round, ONICO Warszawa overcame the GKS Katowice club (3:0) on class, although their guests only began to understand how to act against their opponents' onslaught closer to the 3rd set. Match prediction: GKS Katowice - ONICO Warszawa GKS Katowice shouldn't lose by a large margin, which is why I'm placing a bet on the handicap (+2,5) on sets in favour of the hosts, who managed to slightly steer away from the mid-season crisis.

In another yet-to-be-played second-leg matchup of the CEV Cup's round of 16, Milano will face Zawiercie. The Polish side skilfully defeated the Italians in the first match with a scoreline of 3:0. Therefore, Michał Winiarski's team is heading off to the fashion capital with a hefty lead, where winning 2 sets would be adequate. Milano The Italians deserve some praise as the team has improved in the championships, and before their trip to Poland to face "Zawiercie", they looked convincingly strong in the CEV Cup. Aside from a disappointing start in the SuperLega, "Milan" has experienced just 3 losses in their championship and several victories, despite their disappointing performance in the CEV Cup. Specifically, at the beginning of this year, Roberto Piazza's volleyball players defeated "Piacenza" in the national Cup, then lost to the same team in the SuperLiga, followed by a failure in Poland and then a confident victory over "Cisterna" in the 14th championship round. In general, it seems that the setback in the CEV Cup was an isolated failure, nonetheless significant, as Milano needs to recover from a 0:3 loss in the home match against Zawiercie, which will prove challenging. Milano's squad is packed with splendid volleyball players. Osinels Hernandes Mergarejo is often effective, Ferre Reggers and Yuki Ishikawa are ready to shine after an excellent match against "Cisterna" in the championship. While expecting a reversal of the score from the Italians (like 3:0) is problematic, Milano is capable of taking the first set, winning the second, and then going full throttle. My scenario seems simplistic in words, but in reality, Roberto Piazza's volleyball players need to outplay a Polish club that hasn't lost almost 10 matches. Victory over Milan would represent a remarkable achievement for Zawiercie. Zawiercie For the Polish team, it's a typical situation of having an unbeaten streak and not wishing to drop the ball at the worst possible time. Zawiercie even overcame Olsztyn in the previous round of PlusLigi. Although they could have saved their energy for the return match with "Milan," where winning 2 sets would suffice. In terms of lineups, the Poles are probably neither better nor worse than the Italians. In the libero position, Luke Perry works excellently, and Miguel Tavares Rodrigues acts wisely in defence. Attacker Karol Butrin will again display efficiency, with Bartosz Kwolek shining in his role, as well as central blocker Mateusz Bieniek. Michał Winiarski understands that the team should focus on the first party, as "Milan" has yet to pick up their pace in the match. If the Poles lose the starting set to Milan, they are likely to face challenges in the second one too, as they will allow the Italians to take the upper hand. Head-to-head Zawiercie had an excellent first match, whereas Milano was not prepared for the rival's challenge. Match prediction: Milano - Zawiercie Let's back the Italians who should demonstrate that the failure in Poland was an absurd fluke. Milano should win with a 2-set differential, therefore we choose this option for the return match.

In the 6th round of Group D for the Volleyball Champions League, an interesting match is set to take place between "Jastrzębski Węgiel" and "Lneburg". The Poles are leading the group, having the opportunity to make it to the playoffs without having to play an extra match, and freely engage in the Plus-League. As for the German club, the situation is worse, they can take 3rd place and make it to the CEV Cup or be left with nothing, hence the need for a highly successful match in Poland for Stefan Hbner's volleyball players. Jastrzębski Węgiel "Jastrzębski Węgiel" faces no issues in the championship. The Poles have established themselves at the top spot in the Plus-League and are assured to maintain their position even if they are defeated away by "Olsztyn". Everything seemed to go smoothly in the Champions League, but a single loss to "Las-Palmas" away spurred rumours that Marcelo Mendes' team could lose the top spot and miss the quarterfinal playoffs, instead having to play for their position in the 1/8 finals. This is common when everything hinges on a specific confrontation. However, "Jastrzębski Węgiel" is playing at home against "Lneburg", providing them the advantage of home ground - the Poles are considerably stronger than the Germans. Marcelo Mendes has a strong team at his disposal. Notably, setter Benjamin Toniutti is an excellent dispatcher for "Jastrzębski Węgiel"s attack. Jean Patri is responsible for the Polish team's offence, scoring a fair number of points in each match. It would be an odd occurrence if "Lneburg" manages to secure a victory over "Jastrzębski Węgiel" in their home ground. While both teams need the 3 points, the Polish team outperforms the German squad - thus anticipating a confident performance from Marcelo Mendes's volleyball players. Lneburg The team from the Hanseatic city in Lower Saxony got into the Champions League group, having taken 2nd place in the Bundesliga last season. Still, clubs like "Berlin" and "Friedrichshafen" are likely to be ahead in terms of capabilities in Germany. The season kicked off for "Lneburg" with losses in the country's Super Cup. They were unable to secure even bronze medals. After, the championship began and it seemed like everything was going well for "Lneburg" in the Champions League, but a loss in the German Cup to the volleyball club "Berlin" knocked the Hbner team off their winning groove - leading to struggles. In the Bundesliga, the Hanseatic club is in 4th place, and in the Champions League's group they are 3rd. Understandably, these results don't satisfy "Lneburg" fans and judging by some interviews, the volleyball players are also displeased. Coach Stefan Hbner's line-up doesn't allow for much tactical improvements - there's no capacity for strategic changes that could freshen things up or pull the team out of their slump. Their line-up includes Knigge and Rhrs, who work well both in the championship and European cup battles, and diagonal Michał Superlak aids in scoring, but undeniably, "Lneburg" isn't awash with volleyball talent. It's doubtful that the Germans will present an impressive match against "Jastrzębski Węgiel". It's more likely the players of Marcelo Mendes will run the game and easily claim victory. Head-to-Head In the 3rd round, "Lneburg" managed to find their groove on their home court against "Jastrzębski Węgiel", but still lost 1:3. Predictions for the Match: Jastrzębski Węgiel - Lneburg I will bank on the Poles claiming a resounding victory, hence a handicap 1 (-2,5) by sets will be appropriate for this match.

In the north of Poland, an intriguing rendezvous between two clubs lying far apart in the PlusLiga table is set to take place. The Volleyball Club 'GKS Katowice' will lock horns with 'Gdansk' on the 'Ergo Arena'. While the balance of power here is clear, all that remains is to find a solid bet for this encounter. Lotos Gdansk Last season, the "Lions" lost their ticket to the Challenge Cup to the Warsaw 'Project', but now 'Gdansk' has plenty of time to navigate the regular round successfully, reach the playoffs from the top group, and try again to secure a chance to break into the euro cups. The volleyball players from the northern Polish club would still love to play in the Challenge Cup, but the capital's 'Project' is featuring there, standing just a tad away from the semi-finals. 'Gdansk' is focusing on the championship, defeating those who are weaker, but occasionally they manage to overcome more demanding opponents. For instance, last round they managed to beat 'Resovia Rzeszow' on their home court, but before that they faltered in an away game against 'Norwid Czestochowa'. In essence, gains in some places, losses in others, but most importantly, 'Gdansk' sits at a respectable 6th place with barely any issues. If one delves into the 'Gdansk' line-up, it boasts plenty of leaders capable of carrying the entire team during pivotal match moments. Kevin Sasaki is the main striker for the 'Lions', who excels working against blocks, expertly outdoing them with powerful shots. Mikolaj Savitsky has an excellent efficiency coefficient and libero Voitto Koikkya is praised for his quick decision-making, often skillfully leading the ball to combination plays. 'Gdansk' is stronger than 'GKS Katowice', and moreover, on their home court, the 'Lions' have only been bested by 'Project Warsaw' this season. Therefore, they must outplay the PlusLiga underdog without dropping sets. GKS Katowice Victories have come for Grzegorz Slaba's volleyball squad, but a streak of three triumphs was against direct competitors from the underdog strata, so nobody really expected that 'Luk Lubin', as a favourite from the leader's octet, would give in at home to 'GKS Katowice'. Regardless, these 0:3 results didn't alter the table situation significantly for the 'southerners', as they climbed from the 15th to the 14th position. 'GKS Katowice' are about to embark on a cooped schedule with no easy opponents. If anyone could be overcome in their upcoming games, it would only be 'Slepsk Suwalki', but this is an away game for Grzegorz Slaba's troops, and the northeastern Polish team is in good form, so 'GKS Katowice' will certainly face difficulties. Inspecting the 'GiEKSa' line-up, we find excellent playmakers at Grzegorz Slaba's disposal. For instance, Marcin Valinski often receives praise and Lukas Vasina is very impressive. Amongst the defenders, Davide Saitta and Petr Fenoshin stand out, although the Italian has only played 6 matches in this season's championship owing to an injury. Jakub Yarosh is an efficient forward, and their block works intermittently, sometimes collaboratively. The northeastern Polish club will need to deliver a power-packed performance in their away match against 'Gdansk', so that no claims arise regarding their delivery, defence, and blocking connections of 'GKS Katowice'. Only then will they have the chance to beat a top group opponent on the road. Head-to-head In round 1 of this season's PlusLiga, 'Gdansk' beat 'GKS Katowice' 3:0 in sets, even though the odds for the victor were roughly equal before the match. Match prediction: Lotos Gdansk - GKS Katowice I will place my bet on handicap 1 by sets (-2), as there's a definite favourite represented by 'Gdansk', striving to enhance their table position to clearly aim for the leader group playoffs. As for GKS Katowice, a taxing schedule is about to start, with most of the games being very hard to win. Gdansk should be victors in three sets in this match.

In the 16th round of the Polish Plus League, an interesting game is set to be held in "Osir II" sports hall. The club "Zawiercie", currently among the top three in the regular season, will face off against "Olsztyn" which has notably deteriorated its results, dropping to the 8th place in the table. Zawiercie The club from southern Poland is having a good season on two fronts. Not only is "Zawiercie" holding a top-three spot in the Plus League, they are also doing remarkably well in the CEV Cup, reaching the 1/8-finals and already taking a significant step toward the next round. In the new year, Michal Winiarski's volleyball players have played 3 games and achieved confident victories in all of them. In the country's championship, they outplayed "Kedzierzyn-Kozle" away and "Stal Nysa" at home, and were then easily superior to "Milan" in the 1st game of a double confrontation, which took place in Poland. The team "Zawiercie" has a fairly strong lineup; at almost every position strong volleyball players compete within the standards of the Plus League. The MVP of the match with "Milan" was forward Karol Butryn, who is frequently praised by the Polish press and rightfully so. Defensively, effective action is provided by Miguel Tavares Rodrigues, whose performance index is consistently high, and he is often highlighted as one of the key players in team "Zawiercie". The match against "Olsztyn" might not go as smoothly as Winiarski's players would like. Yes, the opponent has some issues with its results, but it's important to understand that "Zawiercie" is under the considerable pressure of this series of eight victories, and therefore there is a high probability of a slipup in any match. Olsztyn The northern club of Plus League unexpectedly started struggling, despite all the initial compliments about "Olsztyn" being well-deserved. The charges of Javier Weber began losing to direct competitors or teams from the lower part of the table. For example, in the last round, "Olsztyn" lost to "Slepsk Suwalki" away with a score (0:3), although before that they had beaten "Project Warsaw" at their own ground with the same numbers on the scoreboard, but in their favour. It's clear that Javier Weber's problems are related to defence and the overall rhythm the team is in, considering its psychological slump. We still highlight Simon Yakubishek in the "Olsztyn" lineup - a central blocker who almost regularly scores points in his position. Alan Souza has excellent stats as an attacking volleyball player, he is useful in each and every match of this season. "Olsztyn" needs to catch up, otherwise, they may fall into the 2nd group of playoff contenders where there's no motivation apart from securing a modest tournament - Challenge Cup. Probably, they won't reach the CEV Cup, but making the playoffs while being among the top eight is quite feasible for Weber's team. Previous meetings In the 1st round, "Olsztyn" outplayed "Zawiercie" (3:1), with all winning rounds being won after the score 24:24 - the starting set was conceded by Weber's volleyball players. Match forecast: Zawiercie - Olsztyn Olsztyn is having problems with results and Zawiercie is not the kind of opponent that can be easily outplayed, especially for the second time in the current season. I'll bet on the handicap1 by sets (-2,5) in the match, I think this home game won't be a problem for Michal Winiarski's volleyball players and the score will be 3:0 sets in their favour.

Hello everyone! The 16th round of the PlusLiga is about to kick off in Northeast Poland, where league table neighbours are set to compete. Slepsk Suwalk" will be hosting Norwid Czestochowa, and we're eager to dissect this match to help you make a reliable bet. Slepsk Suwalki The volleyball players under Dominik Kwapisievich have played two games so far this year. "Stal Nysa" proved stronger than "Slepsk Suwalki" on their home court, whereas "Olsztyn" unexpectedly lost to the North-Eastern Polish club, despite many betting on the visitors in that match. Victories are still rare for "Slepsk Suwalki", but their counterparts at the lower end of the table aren't exactly shining either. By winning a third of the championship games to date, Kwapisievich's squad is at 12th place, struggling to keep out of the relegation zone. The "Slepsk Suwalki" team is average. Excellent attack player Bartosh Filipiak, who became the MVP in a match with "Olsztyn" in the last round, is on their squad, as is Conrad Staer who occasionally showcases outstanding individual stats. Hoakin Galiego staggered a bit in recent matches, but he's expected to bounce back after what seems to be temporary slump. In the context of competition at the bottom of the table, the forthcoming match with "Norwid Czestochowa" is of significant importance for the hosts as there's a chance to overtake the opponents. Kwapisievich's volley players aren't aiming for the group of leaders, it seems. Norwid Czestochowa By the end of last year, the "Norwid Czestochowa" team gained momentum, winning two consecutive matches and marking the start of 2024 by pleasing their fans with a home victory against "Gdansk". Even their loss to "Projekt Warszawa" can't be considered a total flop. Against the capital city's team, "Norwid Czestochowa" played with an expanded roster, however, Leshek Gudzjak continues to rely on the regulars. David Dulski, probably the main attacker of "Norwid Czestochowa", has remained the best among the defeated, consistently scoring high for his team. Often, Damian Kogut is individually efficient and fits well in team dynamics. Rafal Sobanski typically performs diligently, but against "Projekt Warszawa", Ayman Buggera was evidently more successful in his role, despite being previously considered a second-string player by Gudzjak. "Norwid Czestochowa" is showing improvement, making their away match with "Slepsk Suwalki" a valuable test. It will decide whether the southern Polish team can aim for a spot in the top eight. Head-to-Head In the first round, "Norwid Czestochowa" was defeated at home by "Slepsk Suwalki" with a score of (1:3), marking it as one of the most unsuccessful matches in the current season of PlusLiga. Match prediction: Slepsk Suwalki - Norwid Czestochowa For me, the first round game carries no weight, simply because the current "Norwid Czestochowa" team seems far more robust than it did at the start of the season, when they were struggling to perform. I believe it's worth betting on the visitors as they should not be less professional than the team from the northeast of Poland.

Hello everyone! In this article, we will ponder over the Volleyball Champions League, specifically taking a closer look at Group D, where in Round 5, Spanish Guaguas and Polish Jastrzębski Węgiel are yet to face each other. Guaguas In the Spanish Superliga, the team of Sergio Camarero has seen considerable success from last season onwards, when "Guaguas" clinched the gold medals in their championship. This achievement earned them a ticket to the 2023/2024 Champions League qualification, where the Spaniards triumphed with assurance, defeating even the Serbian Partizan. The national championship doesnt hinder Guaguas from giving their all in the European group, where it was clear from the start that theres Jastrzębski Węgiel and then everyone else. In the face of the Poles, Sergio Camarero's actors had nothing to catch, but Lneburg and Česk Budějovice required them to try harder. In the 2nd round of the Champions League group stage, the Guaguas lost to the Germans on their home turf, but round 4 saw the Spaniards taking their revenge. Moreover, Sergio Camareros volleyball players were a bit lucky that in the clash of Česk Budějovice and Lneburg in the previous round, the team from Germany was defeated; otherwise, Guaguas would have occupied third place and their path to the playoffs would have been quite complicated. Regarding their lineup, the commendable Miguel de Amo serves well, and Nico Bruno performs superbly, who shone in Germany against Lneburg. Jastrzębski Węgiel should concern itself with its 1st place in the group, so it's highly unlikely that Guaguas will manage a win, but I really want to see quality volleyball from the Spaniards, even if its just in one set. Jastrzębski Węgiel For Marcelo Mendes's team, the end of the last year and the beginning of this one bore a rather difficult schedule. The match against Guaguas in the Champions League will be the third away game in a row, two of which were in the PlusLiga, and the adversary teams in these away confrontations were not easy opponents: Skra Belchatow and Kędzierzyn-Koźle. The essential part is that Mendes's men won two consecutive away matches and rose to first place in the league table. In the Champions League group, Jastrzębski Węgiel hasnt tasted defeat, and theres virtually no one to concede to, as all teams are much weaker. The most concessions Mendes's volleyball players ever made was to let their opponents win a set, specifically the starting set, after which, Jastrzębski Węgiel played with greater zeal and achieved logical victories. The Polish club's squad possesses higher skills compared to Guaguas, however, the hectic schedule might have exhausted the key players who gave their utmost in the PlusLiga clashes. Lets see what Jastrzębski Węgiel offers, striving to advance to the playoffs from the 1st position in the group. Head-To-Head In Round 1, Jastrzębski Węgiel easily overpowered the Spanish Guaguas on their home turf with a score of 3:0 in sets. Match prediction: Guaguas - Jastrzębski Węgiel I believe that the Spaniards will clinch one set they're likely to play more actively against the Poles on the block and wont hesitate to perform power serves. I wager on the handicap Guaguas for 2,5 sets.

The men's SuperLega volleyball series is launching its 13th round. One of the intriguing clashes for betting selection should be the game between Piacenza and Milano. These teams are about to conduct their third official match in the ongoing season, meaning they are well acquainted with each other. Piacenza In the championship, Piacenza is doing well, although it's a bit hard for Andrea Anastasi's volleyball players to work in two directions. Plus, the team from Emilia-Romagna region participated in the Italian Cup, where precisely Milan managed to defeat Piacenza. Anastasi's players' challenge is considerable, but there is nowhere to retreat. They need to address all the tasks proposed throughout this season. Prior to their loss in the Country Cup, "Piacenza" had a good home match against "Benfica" in the Champions League, where the Italians won with a score (3:0) in sets, and also the squad from the Emilia-Romagna region won two away confrontations in SuperLega. The situation in the Champions League group is still difficult for Andrea Anastasi's team because there is an opportunity to either reach the playoffs from the first place, or miss them entirely. The complexity is further augmented by the fact that the remaining games of "Piacenza" in the CL will be away and against competitors. Now let's assess the composition of one of the leaders of the Italian SuperLega. Santos De Souza Ricardo Lucarelli constantly contributes to the attack, he might arguably be called the main "spiker" of "Piacenza". For Francesco Ricine, the second half of the first championship round saw a game that Andrea Anastasi had expected from him. Piacenza needs a revenge game against "Milan", which is looking powerful in all tournaments in which it participates. Milano Milan might have a challenging schedule, but nonetheless, it keeps the team in shape. The 1/8 finals of the CEV Cup are about to start, and it should be noted that the Italians were massively unlucky with the draw - they got the Polish "Zawiercie", which is in top form. In the Italian Cup, Roberto Piazza's charges managed to defeat "Piacenza" and made it to the final four. As for SuperLega, it's ambiguous here because the teams tussle in the group of leaders and a couple of failures can drop "Milan" below the 5th line, where the club stood at the beginning of the year, however, the best eight broke away from the outsider zone, so Roberto Piazza has no need to worry about the championship. "Milan" has a good team, which makes it entirely feasible to work in three directions of the season, solving global problems. Among the main leaders, I would point out Agustin Luzier and Matey Kaziyski, whose experience and skill are always needed by "Milan". In the championship, Roberto Piazza's volleyball players have no problems, so there's no need for the club to disperse before a crucial visit to "Zawiercie" when they could afford to concede so they can be better physically prepared for the match in Poland. Head-To-Head In the second round of this season's SuperLega, Piacenza defeated Milan on the road (3:0), and afterwards, as already mentioned, lost at home in the quarterfinals of the Italian Cup. Match prediction: Piacenza - Milano I'm going to bet ona win for the home team by points. I think the option (-3.5) would be suitable. A more confident victory for Piacenza in this match is also possible.

An ordinary 15th round PlusLiga volleyball game will be held in the Polish capital, where the favourites will compete against the underdogs. Project Warszawa ranks 2nd in the league, whereas Norwid Czestochowa is stuck at 10th position. One is focused on acquiring the laurels of the regular championship winner, while the other desperately wants to ascend into the top eight notwithstanding their mediocre performance. Project Warszawa It seems fair to regard the capital's team under the leadership of Piotr Graba as the most reliable candidate for PlusLiga's gold. Project Warszawa defeated all competitors in the first round of the championship, including Jastrzębski Węgiel on their home court, currently overtaking the capital's team in the league table. In the last round, Piotr Graba's volleyball players lost to Olsztyn away after 8 consecutive victories. The match just didn't work out for Project, and I think these (0:3) are beneficial for a club performing in the leading positions, enabling them to relieve the pressure of this unbeaten streak. In terms of the lineup, in my opinion, the capital's team is very strong. This season, the Project volleyball players can easily claim PlusLiga's gold medals and try to win the Challenge Cup, even though they face tough competitors, like the Turkish Galatasaray and, of course, the Italian Monza. As for the leaders of the Warsaw team, I want to commend the valuable contributions of many players, but I'll focus on three of them. Kevin Tillie and Bartłomiej Boładź, who constitute the playing foundation of Project Warszawa, are worth noting, alongside with Artur Szalpuk and Yury Semeniuk, who are equally important in attack and its organization. The absence of Linus Weber is noticeable, but the team is coping even without him. Project Warszawa is a robust team and a contender for all titles, so Norwid Czestochowa, undoubtedly being much weaker than this championship leader, requires a proper tactical approach from the capital's team. Norwid Czestochowa Three consecutive victories improved Norwid Czestochowa's standing in PlusLiga. If the team under Leszek Gudzjak hadn't lost any games to lower-ranking competitors previously, they might indeed have found themselves in the top eight. In the last round, Norwid Czestochowa overcame Gdansk on home turf, demonstrating a very distinctive performance. Two sets featured impeccable play by Gudzjak's team who, albeit succumbing to their rivals with the score of (26:28), retained the initiative for much of the set. The Polish southern club features a compact roster, including a couple of top-quality players who largely determine the team's overall success. For example, David Dulski is a vigorous attacking force who fortunately got into gear after initially being stalled at the championship outset. Rafał Sobanski tends to be consistently efficient in almost every match. Damian Kogut, the libero, performs outstandingly. Perhaps Norwid Czestochowa would consider selling him off whenever an opportunity arises. It will be intriguing to see if Leszek Gudzjak's team can match the top championship contender by showcasing strong volleyball, especially on their opponent's territory. It's clear who the favourite is, but Norwid Czestochowa should never be underestimated. They are capable of performing impressively against higher-ranked rivals. Match forecast: Project Warszawa - Norwid Czestochowa Despite the recent success of the southern Polish club, I would bet on Project Warsaw. They need to outpace Jastrzębski Węgiel to affirm their leading position in the table. Achieving this requires winning in such ordinary championship games.

Hello, everyone! Almost immediately after the 14th round, the 15th begins in the Plus-League of volleyball. Naturally, we are going to analyse a fair share of the games in detail to choose the correct bets."Barkom-Kazhany" will have their match with "Skra Belhatuv" on a Polish court in the city of Velyun. Barkom-Kazhany The Ukrainians lost two key duels, thereby bringing "GKS Katowice" closer to themselves and "Skra Belchatow" and "Norwid Czestochowa" are pulling away. Nothing worked against the southern club of Poland just before the New Year, and the first match of 2024 against the main outsider of the Plus-League team "Czarni Radom" turned out to be utterly disappointing, even though it was an away game for the Ukrainians. These two losses have affected the tournament position of "Barkom-Kazhany", especially when it comes to the competition of the Ukrainian club in the 2nd playoff group. It is clear that Ugis Krastin's volleyball players should not be relegated to the Polish First Division, but there is a condition in which there is a chance to complicate their stay in the group of contenders for the Challenge Cup, which the teams from the 2nd part of the table are dreaming to get into. The "Barkom-Kazhany" squad is good and capable of greater than just staying at the 12th place in the Plus-League, nevertheless, the Ukrainians find the Polish championship quite challenging, no matter how hard they try. I would personally note Ilya Kovalyov, who looks good in the attacker position. Musse Guye operates wonderfully in the middle block, earning enough points for his team. "Barkom-Kazhany" has everything to not dangle in the lower part of the table, except a winning game strategy, so sometimes it doesn't work out to beat an outsider or an opponent who is simply an underdog against the Ukrainian team. "Skra Belhatuv" is quite a tough team for today's "Barkam-Kazhany", but with the right approach, it can be beaten. Ugis Krastins volleyball players need to tune in correctly for this game, and the coach should guide his players wisely. Skra Belchatow After two away wins, "Skra" lost to "Jastrzebski Wegiel" on the road (1:3), showing a decent game only in the 3rd set. Nobody ever assumed that Andrea Gardini's volleyball players would overcome one of the season's leaders, but some expected that after a mini series of victories, "Belhatuv" would create a lot of truble for the team from the town of Yastshembe-Zdrui, but the match went logically. Initially, it seemed that "Skra" is a contender for a place in the top eight, and now the team is fully located in the 2nd group of contenders for the playoffs, where the ticket to the Challenge Cup is played out, which is not suitable for the Belchatow club by status. Andrea Gardini has a good enough squad, but everything is concentrated around a small number of effective volleyball players. Both Bartlomiej, Lipinski and Lemanski, are always in order. Victor Novak's serve flies well from time to time, and Libero Benjamin Dies is quite swift and closes a lot of points on the court, pulling out sometimes complex balls. For instance, in a duel with "Jastrzebski Wegiel", he often saved the day in the backline. David Konarski, who works excellently in team interactions, is also good. So far, "Skra Belhatuv" is a bit ambiguous, but a couple of consecutive victories and the club could claim a place in the top eight of the regular championship. The upcoming away game with"Barkom-Kazhany" will be challenging, but a victory over the Ukrainian team is needed now to keep those behind still lagging, and we should get closer to the first group of playoff contenders. Match forecast: Barkom-Kazhany - Skra Belchatow This game should be one with variable success. I'm placing a bet on the total over 182.5 points, counting on 5 sets in this match.

Moving on to the final match of the 14th round of the PlusLiga volleyball, which will be a tussle between teams scraping the bottom of the league. GKS Katowice will host Cuprum from the city of Lubin GKS Katowice The season start for GKS Katowice has been disastrous. The horrifying series of eight games losing streak was depressing but they managed to grab a hard-fought victory over Norvid Czestochowa (3:2) and seemed to grasp the concept of winning, however, they fell in the following 2 matches, albeit playing against strong opponents. Now, the volleyball players under Grzegorz Slaba have a mini trudge of two successful confrontations against direct competitors in the relegation zone. Against Charni Radom, GKS Katowice had a quality match where for the first time Grzegorz Slaba's men did not lose a single set. Then they managed to surpass the Ukrainian club Barkom-Kazhany, despite giving away the starting set and playing away. The GKS Katowice has an adequate line-up to prevent a First League drop-out. Marcin Walinski is displaying a good statistic playing in his position, a big fan of beach volleyball by the way. Jakub Yarosh has played well, being very efficient in recent matches. In general, GKS Katowice has enough solid volleyball players, but the team has a difficult time performing in the current season of PlusLiga. The match against Kuprum will be important, as home victories, and preferably solid ones, are needed to keep a safe distance from the relegation zone. Cuprum The team led by Pawel Rusek had a relentless match with Resovia Rzeszow, but lost (1:3), although the team from Lubin could have even secured 2 sets if they had been a bit quicker in the first set. Cuprum has few victories, precisely two. On the road, they managed to defeat Slepsk Suwalki, and in the first round, they almost effortlessly secured a victory against Barkom-Kazhany. In other showdowns, Pawel Rusek's volleyball players are often too unproductive. In terms of recruiting players, the Lubin club's coaching staff has no issues, though the team clearly lacks overall class. Jake Heins is traditionally good at the front, they have a number of good link players, but sometimes there are complex deficiencies in the blocks, and Kuprum players are not always able to act cohesively near the net. Perhaps one should not consider Pawel Rusek's volleyball players as absolute underdogs in the match against GKS Katowice, but in my view, the coefficients for this meeting are set fairly. Match Prediction: GKS Katowice - Cuprum I would choose a difficult bet. I think GKS Katowice lost minimum 2 sets. I do not rule out that we might even see a total of 5 sets in such an important match for both teams.

Hello everyone! There are two matches left in the 14th round of the PlusLiga that we need to dissect for excellent betting prospects. First up is a clash between two teams at opposite ends of the table. Stal Nysa hosts Slepsk Suwalki. If the visitors win, after the next round, both clubs could find themselves in the same playoff group, a situation the South-West Polish team would prefer to avoid.Stal Nysa Following a series of early-season setbacks, Daniel Plinski's volleyball players began to improve. Granted, Stal Nysa still lags behind the higher-class opponents, but what's important is that they're scoring points in evenly matched confrontations. In the previous round, the South-Western Polish club lost an away match to "Projekt Warsaw" (0:3), highlighting all their shortcomings in a single game. Nothing worked for Stal Nysa, even their attack fell short. By the third set, Daniel Plinski's volleyball players started to warm up but, despite grabbing an early lead, they simply missed the opportunity to at least hold onto a set within the match. In terms of standout players, nothing changes for Stal Nysa. Zuheir El Graoui is still in excellent condition and it will be interesting to see whether he participates in the Olympics for beach volleyball again, having competed in Tokyo. Michal Gerzhot was not part of all the league's matches, but whenever he did step on the court, he instantly became one of the most valuable players in his team. "Stal Nysa" is well-organised, thus they very much wish to avoid falling into the 2nd group of playoff contenders, where the possibility of receiving a pass into the prestigious Eurocupe tournament doesnt exist. The upcoming match against "Slepsk Suwalki" is critical given the current standings, meaning Daniel Plinski's players will be aiming high, especially when playing against one of the underdogs on their home court. Slepsk Suwalki If anyone is losing in the current season, it's usually the club from North-East Poland, typically featuring a score of (0:3). Only with "Barkom Kazhany" they managed to lose but taking one set away from their opponent. On the other hand, Slepsk Suwalki wins in a similar fashion, often outplaying their opponents, going mostly under the total. Dominik Kwapisiewicz's team's most significant victory can be deemed as (3:1) over Skra Belchatow, secured in the 10th round, notably being an away game. Slepsk Suwalki boasts a rather accomplished squad. Ziga Stern sometimes does well, Bartosz Filipiak is almost always effective in attack, earning plenty of points even in matches against strong opponents. Pawel Halaba fills his position nicely, although he experiences games where he doesn't quite get things to work and often finds himself on the sub's bench. Stal Nysa outranks Slepsk Suwalki significantly, making this match have a clear favourite and underdog, thus, we're basing our assessment on this fundamental criterion. Match prediction: Stal Nysa - Slepsk Suwalki My choice here seems rather evident. I'd wager on the handicap 1 (-1,5) by sets in this match, where logically Stal Nysa should secure victory without much hassle in three sets.

We're heading southeast of Poland, where round 14 sees Resovia Rzeszw in action. Guest team is LUK Lublin, who are racing towards the playoffs again, hoping for a better position than their 10th place last season. Resovia Rzeszw Resovia Rzeszw will have to face a team from Lublin again, but this time the opponent is much more challenging than Kuprum, whom the volleyball players of Giampaolo Medei prevailed against (3:1). Worth noting, this match wasn't a cakewalk for the team from southeastern Poland. The motivating factor for Resovia Rzeszw is the Champions League, where victories against Tour and preferably Trentino are crucial, notably, both remaining group matches are away. There are no issues in the championship, but diligent work is obligatory, or they might let themselves be surpassed by Zawerce, followed by Gdańsk along with the current opponent LUK Lublin. Resovia Rzeszw will be playing against two of the three closest competitors, followed by an away trip to France. It's been contemplated that the team managed by Giampaolo Medei is well-equipped, which is essential when operating in dual directions. Key players include Jakub Kohanovski and Steven Boyer who carries out significant work on his attacking position being frequently recognised as the MVP of Poland's championship matches. There's a possibility that Medei's team will play pragmatically once more, surrendering a set and slowing down the pace, but a win over LUK Lublin is mandatory amid the competition with Zawerce, and the need to close in on the Plus League leader. LUK Lublin After three fabulous victories in a row, LUK Lublin failed to beat Norvid Częstochowa on their home turf, even though almost everyone believed they'd win. Arguably, the brightest victory last month was when the players of Massimo Botta held their own against the silver medallist of Plus League season 2022/2023, Kędzierzyn-Koźle. LUk Lublin fought back phenomenally, winning the 5th set (21:19) - a brilliant impulse for future victories. This recent loss to Norvid Częstochowa certainly seems out of place; perhaps it served as a wake-up call for a too successful LUK Lublin, reminding them that not everything is splendid all the time. The team managed by Massimo Botta is rather strong, with defensive stalwart Marcin Comenda and attacker Mateusz Malinowski leading the charge, although he wasn't at his best during the last two games. Alexander Ferreira is bouncing back in form. Whilst Resovia Rzeszw is inherently strong, defeating them is always a challenge. Nevertheless, LUK Lublin is in superb shape, while their opponents are caught in a dilemma, deciding on the most urgent tasks to focus on. Match Fэforecast: Resovia Rzeszw - LUK Lublin The equilibrium of Resovia Rzeszw rests on how Giampaolo Medei will utilise his team. LUK Lublin holds many advantages in terms of readiness for this championship match, hence a positive handicap on sets for the guests can be picked, who are capable of showcasing admirable volleyball at the sports and entertainment centre "Podpromie".

Greetings! There's a standout match in the 14th round of the PlusLiga volleyball tournament. It's between the steady competitor of "Jastrzębski Węgiel", currently in 9th place in the second playoff contenders' group, Kędzierzyn-Koźle, and Zawiercie, occupying the 4th position. The latter is doing excellently in both competitions: the national championship and the CEV Cup. Kędzierzyn-Koźle We are mid-season now, and that means it's injury time, especially when the club is shouldering double burdens. "Kędzierzyn-Koźle" is no exception; the Dutch Twin Wilttenburg, for instance, played less than half of this season's PlusLiga matches. Bartłomiej Klut was just getting into shape when he had to drop out again for at least two more matches. In short, the squad has been heavily affected by injuries, hence "Kędzierzyn-Koźles" challenges working on two fronts. They both aim to qualify for the Champions League playoffs and improve their standing in the championship. Among those currently involved with the "Kędzierzyn-Koźle" team in each match, Lukas Kacmarek, who is consistently effective and has played 11 out of 13 games in this season's PlusLiga, is particularly noteworthy. Bartosz Bednorz played less, but his utility is just as high, so coach Tomas Sammelvuo relies on him in almost every match as one of the main striking forces of the team. "Kędzierzyn-Koźle" should strive to turn things around in the championship in upcoming PlusLiga confrontations with this season's leaders. The game vs "Olympiakos" is not far off and a confident victory is needed. Thomas Sammelvuo's volleyball players have a tough schedule at the start of the year, but they need to aspire to maximise their points from opponents. We will see a fairly even game from "Kędzierzyn-Koźle" against "Zawiercie", depending, of course, on the home team's lineup. However, even without significant player exchanges, the "ZAKSA" team can still win. Zawiercie In the 1/8 CEV Cup final, Michal Vinyarski's team will play against "Milan". The first match of this confrontation is planned for Italy. Prior to that, "Zawiercie" needs to have a decent performance against "Kędzierzyn-Koźle" on the road there's also a home game against "Stal Nysa". The southern Poland club seems to be on track in the championship, as far as I can tell considering Vinyarski's teams location. In the last round, "Zawiercie" beat "Jastrzębski Węgiel" with a score of 3:1, showing excellent form and freshness. They had no problems in the CEV Cup face-off against "Craiova", who were thrashed by the Poles in two matches with a total score of 6:0. While "Zawiercie" doesnt exactly have the biggest squad, it includes some strong volleyball players. For instance, Karol Butrin is always good and Milosz Zniszczol looks decent at times. Luke Perry, a nimble libero, retrieves balls of varying difficulty and Mateusz Bienek deserves praise for offering performances on par with, if not better than, his competitors on the field. "Zawiercie" tends to perform better in the long run than "Kędzierzyn-Koźle", but that doesn't mean they'll have an easy time defeating the silver medalists from last season's PlusLiga. Match Prediction: Kędzierzyn-Koźle - Zawiercie This game wont bring an easy victory for either the hosts or the guests. I'm expecting a high-scoring game, so I'm backing total over 183.5 points. It is quite possible that the match will go to a fifth set.

The 14th round of the Volleyball Plus-League is starting, with many interesting battles, but I'll opt for the clash of two renowned Polish teams. Of course, we will be picking a wager for the confrontation of Skra Belchatow versus Jastrzebski Wegiel. Skra Belchatow Once, the team from Belchatow became seven-season Champions of Poland (2005-2011), making themselves the undisputed leaders of the country. However, currently, Skra finds itself in the middle of the table and is unlikely to be a real contender for the Plus-League's gold medals. This season, under Andrea Gardini's management, the team is performing averagely, mixing losses to outsider teams with occasional victories earned over serious clubs. For instance, Skra managed to beat Projekt Warsaw, and the victory over Stal Nysa, though less unexpected, still posed a challenge for the team from Belchatow. Gardini doesn't have a wide range of players to choose from, but he does have a strong roster, packed with powerful volleyball players. Bartłomiej Lemański is a significant figure in Skra Belchatow's core. Dawid Konarski is in good form, and Bartłomiej Lipiński is still excelling on offence, scoring many points through his expert strikes. Jastrzębski Węgiel is an adversary too tough for Andrea Gardini's players, against whom Skra Belchatow may deliver a great game, but taking two sets or even sensationally defeating one of the Plus-League's leaders is scarcely achievable. Jastrzębski Węgiel Jastrzębski Węgiel can almost be considered as having broken through to the Champions League play-offs, although there's still a hypothetical chance of not making it, if they lose to Guagua and Lneburg, respectively, who in turn must win their remaining group matches. In the Polish Championship, Marcelo Mendes's team nearly has no problems, although in the last round, Jastrzębski Węgiel lost to Zawiercie on an away game, not showing the volleyball they usually display in many matches this season. Still, the match cannot be considered a fail; after all, the guests could have taken the second set, making the score 2:0 in their favor, a lead that is often incredibly hard to make up. Mendes has plenty of powerful players, unlike Skra Belchatow's resources. Among the main leaders, one must highlight Jean Patry, who brings a significant positive contribution in almost all matches for Jastrzębski Węgiel this season. Tomasz Fornal is always setting a high standard in offence- there's Rafał Shimura, who in the position of outside hitter, is effective. We'll see what attitude Marcelo Mendes's players will delve into the game with, but they need to beat Skra Belchatow, or else risk trailing behind Projekt Warsaw in the table, and competitors will start catching up, e.g., Zawiercie or Resovia Rzeszow. Match forecast: Skra Belchatow - Jastrzębski Węgiel My bet is on the negative handicap in sets (-2) of Jastrzębski Węgiel, who should be able to rectify their unsuccessful match in the last round against Zawiercie.

Let's add a pinch of volleyball to the regular football routine. The match in the Polish PlusLiga will feature a contest between an underdog and one of the favourites for the championship's gold medals. I'm sure you've guessed it; we'll be talking about the match between Сuprum and Resovia Rzeszow. Сuprum Сuprum from Lubin tasted defeat yet again. This time they couldn't put up a significant show against Stal Nysa, currently 7th in the PlusLiga. If Pavel Rusek's volleyball players continue to lose to all and sundry, they might easily descend into the underdog zone. Apart from the Ukrainian club Barkom-Kazhany and compatriots in nearby places on the league table, Сuprum hasn't beaten any other team, including Slep-Suwalki. They can't even outperform direct competitors when they are the favoured team. Rusek does have a decent squad. There are leaders like Jake Hains and many mid-level volley players, for instance, Wojciech Ferens or Adam Lorenz, who can sometimes be very good, but isn't always effective in his position. Resovia Rzeszw are serious opponents currently hitting a run of championship games where they are aiming for victories, striving to catch up with runaways Jastrzębski Węgiel and Projekt Warsaw. Kuprum just doesn't have the class to aspire to a victory against a team like Giampaolo Medei's Resovia Rzeszw. Resovia Rzeszw Resovia Rzeszw have three championship contests where they should secure victories. However, it's more critical not to accrue any injuries ahead of the major Champions League games. The PlusLiga, without a doubt, is still a necessary tournament, but the upcoming European cup battles take precedence. With three of the four upcoming championship matches being away before the European cup matches, Resovia Rzeszw's players will expend most of their energy on the journeys itself. There is little reason to vary the team drastically for regular championship games as the main players need to keep their tempo. However, overexerting them is ill-advised too, so Giampaolo Medei's strategy will be to utilize a lot of substitutes in the upcoming PlusLiga matches, in an attempt to ease the load on the leaders and deploy the reserve powers fully. Although Kuprum isn't the most challenging opponent, in a bid to conserve energy, Resovia Rzeszw won't opt for aggressive tactics; instead, they will strategise for this match while still aiming to secure a comfortable victory. Match prediction: Сuprum - Resovia Rzeszw Intelligent exertion balance will be crucial for Resovia Rzeszw in this game, while Kuprum will attempt to give it their all but unlikely to even secure a set in a duel against one of the championship's top guns. I'll bet on handicap 2 (-2) on sets in the match.

In the realm of Russian women's volleyball, where beauty and professionalism collide, there's always something fascinating to dissect, especially through the lens of betting. During the 13th round of the Super League, two teams from opposite ends of the table will compete. Zarechie-Odintsovo will host Proton Saratov" The team from Podmoskovye belongs to the group of outsiders, whereas the Povolzhye team maintains a high-ranking third place in the leaderboard. Zarechie-Odintsovo All victories in this Super League, bar the triumph match against "Atom-Kursk", have been hard-won for the Podmoskovye club, and they were not considered favourites in their confrontations. Any setbacks "Zarechye-Odintsovo" has had should not come as a surprise, as the team was initially grouped among those expected to struggle among the outsiders. Zarechie-Odintsovo was once considered among the best Russian volleyball clubs, a reputation established largely due to the performances of world volleyball legend Lyubov Sokolova and Olga Fateeva. While the present Podmoskovye team still has its leaders, they are few in number. Notable among Zarechie-Odintsovo's current group are outside hitters Inna Kruk and Anastasia Stalnaya, who have a reasonably effective rating this season. Currently, the Podmoskovye club lacks the resources to consistently score victories over Proton-Saratov, hence the fair odds offered on this match, particularly following three consecutive defeats for Zarechie-Odintsovo. Proton-Saratov Almost all key matches were lost by the Saratov volleyball players. Despite its respectable position over the season, Proton clearly lacks the strength needed in the playoffs, where potential rivals range from Dinamo Kazan to Dinamo Moscow. In the Russian Cup, Proton-Saratov's confrontation with the Republic of Tatarstan club didn't go as planned, and then in the championship, Yuri Marichev's team lost to Kazan's "Dynamo. Certain individuals in the Saratov team's line-up deserve a mention. For instance, Svetlana Gatina is impressive in her position, and as always, Natalya Malyh is prominent, without whom Proton would surely not hold their current third-place position. I see no challenges for Saratov ahead of their game against Zarechie-Odintsovo. While the opposition isn't the most formidable, they cannot be taken lightly to ensure a victory in this away match. Prediction for the match: Zarechie-Odintsovo - Proton-Saratov I'm betting on a handicap 2 (-2) for sets for the match. Expecting a scoreline (3:0) or (3:1) in favour of the Saratov volleyball players, who need to show their prowess yet again in a match against a team from the lower half of the table.
