This season, Sabalenka also claimed a victory at the championship in Madrid, overcoming Kuznetsova, Osorio Serrano, Andreescu, Sherif, Sakkari, and Swiatek. Besides, the tennis player secured the title at the Australian Open, getting past Martincova, Rogers, Mertens, Bencic, Vekic, Linette, and Rybakina. At the start of January, Aryna also took the title in Adelaide, by defeating Samsonova, Vondrousova, Begu and Nuskova.
