In the US Open quarterfinal on hard court, Marketa Vondrousova from Czech Republic will face Madison Keys from the United States. Our wager is on Vondrousova's triumph.

In May, the tennis player performed quite well at the Rome Masters, defeating Kanepi, Andreescu, and Sakkari, but then lost to Rybakina. Furthermore, in March, she secured three victories each at the Indian Wells and Miami hard court tournaments and reached the semi-finals in Linz in February.

However, prior to this, Keys had mishaps, losing three out of four matches. In Cincinnati, she fell to Mertens, while in Montreal, she overcame Williams but had to withdraw from the match against Paolini. Earlier, the tennis player participated in the Washington tournament where she reached quarterfinals. In this championship, she outplayed Qinwen Zheng 7:5, 6:1, and Brady 6:4, 6:0, but later conceded to Sakkari 3:6, 3:6.

In the French Open, Keys had a victory over Canele 6:1, 3:6, 6:1, but couldn't cope with Day, conceding 2:6, 6:4, 4:6, and in Rome she reached the round of 16, where she defeated Fresh and Azarenka, but subsequently lost to Kalinina. In Charleston, Keys reached the quarterfinals, defeating Navarro, Baptiste, and Linette, but lost to Kasatkina. Keys started the current season with six consecutive wins in Australia and later reached the quarterfinals in Dubai, defeating Paolini, Garcia, and Azarenka, but then lost to Gauff.
The athletes have not previously played against each other.
Vondrousova has a more consistent season and displays good form on hard court. Marketa outdoes her rival in class, and I believe she will seize victory in the upcoming match.
