26-year-old Daria Kasatkina, currently ranked 14th in the world tennis rankings, has claimed three victories at the US Open. During the competition, she defeated Parks 2:6, 6:4, 6:2, Kenin 2:6, 6:4, 6:4 and Minnen 6:3, 6:4. Previously in Cincinnati, the player overcame Stierns and Gracheva, before losing to Sabalenka, whereas in Montreal, she made it to the quarterfinals after defeating Mertens, Blinkova, and Bouzkova, but lost to Rybakina.
At the tournament in Washington in early August, Daria started with a win over Mertens 6:3, 7:5. But then she faced difficulties and fell to Svitolina 2:6, 2:6. Her performance in Palermo also led to the quarterfinals, where she bested Trevisan 6:3, 6:7 (2:7), 6:0 and Barkova 6:3, 6:1, but lost to Paolini 4:6, 6:4, 3:6. At Wimbledon, Daria demonstrated solid play by beating Dolhaid 6:1, 6:4 and Burrage 6:0, 6:2, but her run was halted with a loss to Azarenka 2:6, 4:6.
A highlight of the season for Daria was reaching the final at Eastbourne Open. Here she overcame Kalinina, Pliskova, Garcia and Giorgi, but was second best in the final against Keys. Also, she was able to demonstrate a high level of play on various surfaces, including hard court, where she reached the final in Adelaide in mid-January, and clay, where she made it to the semifinals in Charleston in April.
25-year-old Aryna, currently world number two, has accomplished three victories at the US Open. In the tournament, she dispatched Zanevska 6:3, 6:2, Berreidzh 6:3, 6:2, and Burel 6:1, 6:1. Earlier in Cincinnati, she reached the semifinals, defeating Li 7:5, 2:6, 6:4, Kasatkina 6:3, 6:3, and Jabeur 7:5, 6:3, but then conceded to Mukhova 7:6 (7:4), 3:6, 2:6. Prior to this in Montreal, Sabalenka beat Martic but then lost to Samsonova.
At Wimbledon, Aryna Sabalenka made it to the semi-finals and won five matches. She beat Udvardi 6:3, 6:1, Gracheva 2:6, 7:5, 6:2, Blinkova 6:2, 6:3, Alexandrova 6:4, 6:0 and Keys 6:2, 6:4, but later lost to Jabeur 6:7 (5:7), 6:4, 6:3. Earlier at the Berlin competition, Aryna beat Zvonareva 6:3, 6:2 but suffered a loss from Kudermetova 2:6, 6:7 (2:7).
In the French Open, Sabalenka advanced to the semi-finals, making an impressive five victories as well. She overcame Kostyuk 6:3, 6:2, Shimanovich 7:5, 6:2, Rahimova 6:2, 6:2, Stevens 7:6 (7:5), 6:4 and Svitolina 6:4, 6:4. In all five won matches, Aryna did not concede a single set, however, in the semi-final she lost to Muchova 6:7 (5:7), 7:6 (7:5), 5:7.
This season, Sabalenka also clinched the title at the Madrid Open, where she defeated Kudermetova, Osorio Serrano, Andreescu, Sheriff, Sakkari, and Swiatek. Moreover, she triumphed at the Australian Open, beating Martincova, Rodgers, Mertens, Bencic, Vekic, Linette, and Rybakina. Also, in early January, Aryna clinched the title in Adelaide, defeating Samsonova, Vondrousova, Begu, and Noskova.

Sabalenka is in excellent form and is the favourite for the upcoming match. She has recorded three solid victories in the championship, and I think the situation will repeat in the upcoming match.
