In the race for second place, Southampton will host Hull City on their home turf, a steadily gaining confidence team aspiring to burst into the top six. In the previous round, the Saints convincingly beat West Bromwich Albion away, while the Tigers barely surpassed Huddersfield Town.

The Saints have indeed set their historical win streak record but then lost right away. Southampton is no longer weighed down by any records and can comfortably accumulate points. With a victory, they could surpass Leeds United on the league table and claim the second spot. Considering some problems Leicester have, I wouldn't exclude the Saints from possibly taking the championship by season-end.

Hull City

A challenging period in the championship is creeping up on Hull, with five of the next six matches set against teams from the top ten. This is a big audition, but also a chance to deprive their rivals of points. Hull is closely approaching the play-off zone, making every match crucial.

Southampton is indeed strong, but there are two critical points to consider. Firstly, they are still very shaky in ball losses and often concede from counter-attacks. Secondly, the team's goalkeeper, Gavin Bazunu, can pull off crazy saves quite regularly. Nevertheless, he accumulates a significant number of slip-ups. Therefore, Hull City's individual total over 1 goal seems like an excellent prospect.
