On Wednesday, 10th of April a semi-final match of the Russian Super League will take place between Belogorie and Moscow’s Dinamo.
The Belgorod team is having an excellent season and currently hold the third spot in the league table. They made it through the last playoff stage quite confidently, defeating “Kuzbass” with a 2:1 in matches, winning twice 3:0 and losing 2:3 away. Prior to the defeat from Kemerovo, the team had a run of sixteen wins. The club has chalked up twenty-three victories against seven defeats this season.
The guests, on the other hand, occupy the fourth spot in the Super League ranks. In their previous encounter with “Zenit,” they were viewed as strong favourites, yet the game turned out to be a very close one. The decisive match ended with a 3:2 victory for “Dinamo”. The team has twenty-two victories and eight defeats to their name in the 30 matchups of this tournament.
Since 2022, the teams have held five matches between them. Moscow’s “Dinamo” triumphed in four of them (3:1, 3:0, 3:0, 3:0), whilst “Belogorie” came out on top once, with a score of 3:2.
I’m not entirely sure why Dinamo is being portrayed as the pronounced favourite in this head-to-head battle. It is likely due to the head-to-head statistics, however, Belogorie are in splendid form right now and furthermore, they are playing at their home ground in Tula. I believe it would be sensible to take the Handicap 1 (+1.5) on sets at 1.56 odds. After all, Dinamo is not in their peak form at the moment, a fact reflected in the match with Zenit.
