This decision led to two defeats in the last tours against Padova and Perugia, both finishing 1:3, which did not affect their overall success in the season. In the quarter-final of the local league, the team outplayed Modena 2-0 in the series; making a comeback in the second match from 1-2 and took the victory on tie-break with a score of 3:2. In the quarter-final series, the team is failing with a score of 0-2, suffering defeats in both matches with a score of 1:3 in games.
In the Superlega championship, the team ended the season in 4th place, successfully navigating through the quarter-final stage of the Champions League where they confidently defeated the Turkish team Halkbank twice with a score of 3:1.
