Barkom - PGE Skra Belchatow predictions and free betting tips [05/01/2024]

Hello, everyone! Almost immediately after the 14th round, the 15th begins in the Plus-League of volleyball. Naturally, we are going to analyse a fair share of the games in detail to choose the correct bets. "Barkom-Kazhany" will have their match with "Skra Belhatuv" on a Polish court in the city of Velyun. 

Barkom-Kazhany

The Ukrainians lost two key duels, thereby bringing "GKS Katowice" closer to themselves and "Skra Belchatow" and "Norwid Czestochowa" are pulling away. Nothing worked against the southern club of Poland just before the New Year, and the first match of 2024 against the main outsider of the Plus-League team "Czarni Radom" turned out to be utterly disappointing, even though it was an away game for the Ukrainians. These two losses have affected the tournament position of "Barkom-Kazhany", especially when it comes to the competition of the Ukrainian club in the 2nd playoff group.

It is clear that Ugis Krastin's volleyball players should not be relegated to the Polish First Division, but there is a condition in which there is a chance to complicate their stay in the group of contenders for the Challenge Cup, which the teams from the 2nd part of the table are dreaming to get into.

The "Barkom-Kazhany" squad is good and capable of greater than just staying at the 12th place in the Plus-League, nevertheless, the Ukrainians find the Polish championship quite challenging, no matter how hard they try. I would personally note Ilya Kovalyov, who looks good in the attacker position. Musse Guye operates wonderfully in the middle block, earning enough points for his team.

"Barkom-Kazhany" has everything to not dangle in the lower part of the table, except a winning game strategy, so sometimes it doesn't work out to beat an outsider or an opponent who is simply an underdog against the Ukrainian team. "Skra Belhatuv" is quite a tough team for today's "Barkam-Kazhany", but with the right approach, it can be beaten. Ugis Krastin’s volleyball players need to tune in correctly for this game, and the coach should guide his players wisely.

After two away wins, "Skra" lost to "Jastrzebski Wegiel" on the road (1:3), showing a decent game only in the 3rd set. Nobody ever assumed that Andrea Gardini's volleyball players would overcome one of the season's leaders, but some expected that after a mini series of victories, "Belhatuv" would create a lot of truble for the team from the town of Yastshembe-Zdrui, but the match went logically.

Initially, it seemed that "Skra" is a contender for a place in the top eight, and now the team is fully located in the 2nd group of contenders for the playoffs, where the ticket to the Challenge Cup is played out, which is not suitable for the Belchatow club by status.

Andrea Gardini has a good enough squad, but everything is concentrated around a small number of effective volleyball players. Both Bartlomiej, Lipinski and Lemanski, are always in order. Victor Novak's serve flies well from time to time, and Libero Benjamin Dies is quite swift and closes a lot of points on the court, pulling out sometimes complex balls. For instance, in a duel with "Jastrzebski Wegiel", he often saved the day in the backline. David Konarski, who works excellently in team interactions, is also good.

So far, "Skra Belhatuv" is a bit ambiguous, but a couple of consecutive victories and the club could claim a place in the top eight of the regular championship. The upcoming away game with "Barkom-Kazhany" will be challenging, but a victory over the Ukrainian team is needed now to keep those behind still lagging, and we should get closer to the first group of playoff contenders.
