18-year-old Linda Noskova, who is ranked 71st in the world, previously took part in a tournament in the Czech Republic, where she achieved victories over Kalieva with a score of 6:1, 6:2, Raina with a score of 1:6, 7:5, 6:1, and Schmiedlova with a score of 6:0, 6:2.

Earlier, in Warsaw, she reached the quarterfinals, where she triumphed over Fett with a score of 4:6, 7:6 (7:4), 6:3 and Grunchakova with a score of 6:3, 6:3, but subsequently lost to Swiatek with a score of 1:6, 4:6. Linda took part in Wimbledon but failed to beat the first round, losing to Gauff with a score of 7:6 (8:6), 2:6, 2:6. In the grass-court competition in Bad Homburg, she beat Bindl with a score of 6:2, 7:5, but lost to Samsonova in a thrilling match with a score of 4:6, 7:6 (7:4), 3:6, and also suffered defeat to Ostapenko in Birmingham with a score of 2:6, 7:5, 1:6.

At the Makarska Challenger, Linda showed promising results, reaching the quarterfinals. She overcame Semenistaja with a score of 6:2, 7:5 and Jacquemot with a score of 6:3, 7:6 (9:7), but then lost to Parry with a score of 6:1, 6:7 (1:7), 3:6.

Linda Noskova's main achievement this season was her run to the final of the Adelaide tournament on hard court in January. She passed Kalinskaya and Potapova in qualifying, and in the main draw of the tournament, she overcame Kasatkina, Liu, Azarenka and Jabeur. In the final, Linda faced the world's second-ranked racket, Sabalenka, but ultimately suffered defeat.
