Aiming to secure a fourth consecutive championship victory, Queens Park Rangers is set to host West Bromwich Albion, currently sitting in the play-off zone, at Loftus Road. QPR achieved an impressive victory over Leicester on the road in the previous round, while the "Throstles" proved superior to Coventry City at home.
Following a successful streak, QPR has finally left the relegation zone but can't feel completely secure, as their goal difference is only slightly better. Marti Sifuentes may start Sinclair Armstrong after his scored bench appearance against Leicester. Defensive midfielder Jack Colback is serving the second half of his suspension, ruling him out.
After losing to Southampton, West Brom collected seven points in the next three matches. The team's performance has noticeably improved due to the return of their leaders from the Africa Cup of Nations. Carlos Corberan has no reason to change the starting line-up that outplayed Coventry over the weekend.
The "Throstles" have recently experienced difficulties on the road, and for this reason alone, I am overlooking a win for them in this match. The safest bet, in my view, is their total of more than one goal.
