USA Basketball Team Defeats Serbia in the Group Stage of the 2024 Olympics

On July 28, the first-round group stage match between the USA and Serbia teams at the Olympic Games concluded.

The game ended with a score of 110-84 (25:20, 33:29, 26:16, 26:19) in favor of the American basketball players. The match took place at the "Pierre Mauroy" arena (Villeneuve-d'Ascq).

The most productive player in the match was the forward of the "Phoenix Suns," Kevin Durant. The American scored 23 points, grabbed 2 rebounds, and spent 16 minutes on the court. For the Serbians, the most productive player was the center from the "Denver Nuggets," Nikola Jokic. He scored 20 points, grabbed 5 rebounds, and made 8 steals.

The basketball competitions at the 2024 Summer Olympics are being held from July 27 to August 10, 2024. Twelve teams are participating. The final match will take place on August 10 at the "Accor Arena" (Bercy).
