Georgian National Team Players Awarded Order of Honor for Participation in Euro 2024

President of Georgia Salome Zurabishvili awarded the participants of Euro 2024 for reaching the Round of 16, reports TASS.

The ceremony took place in the city center, where the football players arrived on an open-top bus and greeted the fans.

It is worth noting that the teams of Spain, Germany, Portugal, France, Netherlands, Turkey, England, and Switzerland reached the quarterfinals of the tournament.

The 2024 European Championship is being held in Germany from June 14 to July 14. The teams that finish first and second in the group stage, as well as the four best third-place teams, will advance to the Round of 16.

The reigning European champion is the Italian national team.
