England Players Insulted Slovaks During Euro 2024 Match

Players of the England national team displayed inappropriate behavior towards representatives of the Slovakia national team during the teams' meeting at the 2024 UEFA European Football Championship, reports the British publication Daily Mail.

In particular, England midfielder Jude Bellingham made an obscene gesture towards the Slovakian substitutes' bench after scoring a goal. And midfielder Declan Rice cursed at Slovakia's head coach Francesco Calzona after the final whistle.

The England team defeated the Slovakia team 2-1 in extra time in the round of 16 match of the 2024 UEFA European Football Championship.

The 2024 UEFA European Football Championship is being held from June 14 to July 14 in Germany. Twenty-four teams are participating in it. In the first stage, they are divided into 6 groups of 4 teams each. A single round-robin tournament will be held in each group, and then the 16 best teams will advance to the playoffs. All playoff stages up to the final will consist of a single match.
