In the semifinal match, she secured a victory over the world No. 3, American Coco Gauff, with a score of 6-2, 6-4. The match lasted 1 hour and 35 minutes. Swiatek has reached the 22nd final of her career and the fifth at Grand Slam tournaments. Her opponent in the final will be either Italy's Jasmine Paolini or Russia's Mirra Andreeva.
The French Open is one of the four most prestigious Grand Slam tournaments. This year, it runs from May 26 to June 8, with a total prize fund of €53,478,000.
