Borussia Earned More than Real Madrid After Losing the Champions League Final

Borussia Dortmund earned more money after losing the Champions League final to Real Madrid than they would have received if they had won.

The German team earned 20.5 million euros - they received 15.5 million for participating in the final, and an additional 5 million as bonuses for the transfer of midfielder Jude Bellingham to the Spanish club. Notably, Real Madrid earned 20 million euros for winning the Champions League final.

Real Madrid became the 15-time winner of the tournament. In the Champions League final, goals were scored by Carvajal and Vinícius Júnior. In the UEFA Super Cup, "Los Blancos" will play against Atalanta.
