"Porto" defeated "Sporting" to win the Portuguese Cup

"Porto" claimed victory over Lisbon's "Sporting" in the final match of the Portuguese Cup with a score of 2-1.

"Sporting" defender Jérémy St. Juste put his team ahead in the 20th minute. Forward Evanilson equalized in the 25th minute. The teams could not determine a winner in regular time. Mehdi Taremi secured the victory for the "Dragons" in the additional 30 minutes, scoring in the 100th minute.

Thus, "Porto" became the holders of the 2023/24 Portuguese Cup.
