French forward Kylian Mbappé posted on his social media page against the backdrop of his departure from the club this summer.

The footballer was named the best player of the season in Ligue 1 according to the union of footballers and coaches of France.

"Huge emotions from this fifth title of best player in Ligue 1. Many thanks for the love I have received all these years. I will never forget those special moments I was able to spend with the club. Thanks to my teammates and the staff of this special and prestigious club PSG for constantly allowing me to be the best version of myself. I leave with my head held high, but never forgetting that I am infinitely grateful to you," Mbappé wrote.
