Andy Murray Played His Last Match at the Olympics

British tennis player Andy Murray has ended his professional career.

In the quarterfinals of the doubles event at the Olympic tournament in Paris, he and Dan Evans lost to Americans Taylor Fritz and Tommy Paul with a score of 2-6, 4-6. The match lasted 1 hour and 17 minutes. For the 37-year-old Murray, this match was the last of his career.

Murray's record includes 46 titles, including three Grand Slam victories and 14 Masters titles. The Glasgow native achieved 739 wins, including 105 against top-10 players. It is worth noting that Andy is the only tennis player to have won two Olympic gold medals in singles.

In January 2018, Murray underwent hip replacement surgery. A year and a half later, he won his first and last title with a metal hip.
