Australian Alex de Minaur Withdraws from Wimbledon 2024

Australian tennis player Alex de Minaur has withdrawn from Wimbledon due to an injury sustained at the end of his last match against Frenchman Arthur Fils.

On July 10, he was scheduled to face Novak Djokovic in the quarterfinals of the tournament. As a result, the Serbian advanced to the semifinals without a match.

In the fourth round match, Djokovic confidently defeated the Dane Holger Rune and then found himself in the spotlight due to his comments after the match.

In the semifinals, the Serbian will face the winner of the Lorenzo Musetti - Taylor Fritz match.
