Luton Town's head coach, Rob Edwards, has admired Elijah Adebayo following his crucial equalizer in stoppage time, which secured a 2-2 draw with Nottingham Forest. Despite being 2-0 down until the 83rd minute, Luton made a remarkable comeback.
Chiedozie Ogbene, also of Nigerian descent, initiated the comeback with a goal in the 83rd minute. Adebayo then levelled the score in added time.
Edwards, speaking to the club’s official website, highlighted Adebayo's knack for producing pivotal moments, referencing his performances against Burnley and Sheffield United and his assist at Wembley.
He acknowledged Adebayo's frustration at not starting but praised his impactful contribution from the bench.
