On Saturday, 17th February, within the frame of the 25th round of the Spanish Primera, Valencia shall host Sevilla at their home ground. The guests pulled off an unexpected 1:0 victory over Atletico Madrid last weekend, while Los Che lost away to Las Palmas 2:0.

Thanks to such a result, the Andalusians begin to increase the gap from their competitors, and are currently ahead of Cadiz by 6 points.

Given that the 'pirates' are in deep crisis and have not won in winter, a victory over Valencia today virtually guarantees the Sevillians staying in the elite. I should note that this year, the 7-time winners of the Europa League won't be performing in the European cups after dropping out of the Champions League in December. Meanwhile, the wards of Quique Flores are having difficulties away from home, having gained only nine points in 11 matches away from their fans.

Los Che could celebrate a double over Sevilla for the first time since the 2017-18 campaign, following a 2:1 victory in the first leg in August.

Of course, Los Che do well at home and have been undefeated here since mid-autumn, but it's the Sevillians who have a slightly more skilful squad. I'll risk placing a bet on a draw.
