In the forthcoming League 2 tour, "Crawley Town" and "Wimbledon" will clash at the "Cherry Red Records" stadium.
The team spent 6 years in League 1, but in the 2021/2022 season, they ended up 23rd and got relegated to League 2. They narrowly escaped relegation to the National League last year, stopping at 21st place. Now, however, they're faring much better, as the lads are positioned at the 8th spot in the league table.
After a victory over "Mansfield Town" (2:1), they had a goalless draw with "Bradford City". In the next tour, they managed to secure victory over "Barrow" (2:1). But then, "Wimbledon" suffered a defeat against "Accrington" (0:2). In their latest game, the team drew with "Morecambe" (1:1).
This team has been in League 2 for quite a while now. They mostly find themselves in the middle of the table, hence they can be considered an average team in this championship. This season they're at the 15th spot in the league table.
After a minimal loss to "Salford", they were defeated by "Morecambe" (1:2). In their next game, the team lost their third match in a row to "Crewe Alexandra" (0:1). They then drew with "Walsall" (1:1). But in the last tour, the lads achieved victory over "Forest Green" (2:0).
The last face-to-face match between "Crawley" and "Wimbledon" took place on the 22nd of December 2023 and concluded with a (2:1) victory for "Wimbledon".
In the upcoming match, I'd stake on the home team's win. "Crawley", given their recent performances, doesn't look like a strong opponent, having managed to defeat only "Forest Green", who are in the relegation zone, apart from their string of defeats. Moreover, they will be playing away against "Wimbledon", who managed to overcome two season favourites at their home ground.
Both teams have demonstrated a fairly good efficiency in recent tours, hence, I would propose a TO (Total Over) 2.5 bet.
