Leeds United is set to kick off a new victory streak on Tuesday evening on their home field, "Elland Road", against Stoke City. The hosts had to settle for a draw in their match with "Huddersfield", while the "Potters" beat "Middlesbrough", boosting their spirits in the fight for survival.
The "Peacocks" were expected to extend their winning streak to ten matches, but Huddersfield put up a real fight. Leeds might even have lost, but the sending off of Jonathan Hogg broke the "Terriers'" pattern of play. This stumble was exploited by "Ipswich Town", who now stands alone in second place. The original starting line-up is expected to remain the same, with the performance of Patrick Bamford possibly raising a question mark due to his sketchy performance.
The guests remain in the relegation zone only due to the difference in goals scored and conceded. Any success could profoundly change the standings. Jordan Thompson will miss his second match through suspension, whilst Luke McNally and Junior Chamadeu are ruled out by injury.
Leeds are in good form despite dropping points against Huddersfield. The home game should go in their favour. Stoke City are clearly in a lower tier and should fall behind here. I like Leeds United with a -1 handicap.
