The relegation-threatened Plymouth Argyle will host play-off chasing West Bromwich Albion at Home Park. Both of our contenders suffered defeats in the previous round. The Pilgrims lost to Leeds, while the Baggies were outplayed by Southampton at their home ground The Hawthorns.
The hosts are not in the best of forms at the moment, unable to win any of their last four matches. Having accrued only a single point in their last three league matches, Ian Foster's team is steered steadily towards the relegation zone. Darko Gyabi was ineligible to play against Leeds because of loan agreements, so he should be returning to the starting line-up tomorrow.
West Brom unfortunately encountered a resurgent Southampton in the last round and were convincingly defeated. It must be said that since Carlos Corberan was appointed as the head coach, the team has become noticeably more confident. Academy graduate, Tom Fellows, has impressed since stepping in for the injured Matt Phillips. Sammy Ajayi and Grady Diangana have returned from the African Nations Cup and are likely to start.
Plymouth has been in a bit of a slump recently, which means they'll look to bounce back at home turf. Notably, they've only lost one of their last ten home games. So, I'll bet that Plymouth will not lose this game.
