On Monday, 3 June, a Friendly football match will take place between the national teams of Gibraltar and Scotland.
It's clear that the team did not qualify for the Euros. They lost all their matches without any chances, becoming part of a historic match but not in a good way. They were ruthlessly defeated by France (0-14) and looked just like a neighbourhood team. They are on a streak of twelve losses.
The Scots played confidently in the qualifiers and secured a direct ticket to the upcoming Euros. However, in recent friendlies, they looked weak, losing to Northern Ireland (0-1) and the Netherlands (0-4), despite higher expectations from the team.
Throughout history, the teams have met only twice. Scotland won both times without any issues (6-0, 6-1).
The Scots haven't shown strong attacking play in a long time, and I think they will approach this game in a relaxed manner, as it's just a friendly, and their opponent is significantly weaker. Of course, Gibraltar's chances are close to zero, but it is unlikely that Scotland will manage a rout. The odds for a Scotland win are ridiculously low, but ITU2 (3.5) seems like a decent option.
