Despite being in possession of the ball for a longer period, Vincenzo Italiano's wards only managed two strikes on the Nerazzurri’s goal. Earlier, the white-violet side defeated Rapid Wien in the final qualifying round of the Conference League (2:1 on aggregate). This Thursday, the team will head to Belgium to face Genk - the first of three consecutive away games. 

Atalanta

Having finished fifth in the Serie A last season, Atalanta is in the Europa League and is now aiming to break into the top four to participate in the Champions League. "La Dea" is still managed by the outstanding Gian Piero Gasperini, and the team currently ranks fifth on the leaderboard with 6 points. In the second round, the visitors were defeated by Frosinone (2:1), but then clinched victories over Sassuolo (0:2) and Monza before the international break (3:0). This Thursday, the Bergamaschi are set for a clash with Polish champion Rakow in the first round of the Europa League. It's worth noting that the visitors kept a clean sheet in two of the first three matches. Gasperini would have to make do without forward El Bilal Toure, who got injured right after moving to Bergamo. His return isn't expected until 2024.

I believe the Bergamaschi stand a decent chance of taking at least one point from Florence.
