Athletico Paranaense - Corinthians predictions and free betting tips [23/06/2024]

In Copa Sudamericana, Cuca’s side finished second in their group, forcing them to compete in the 1/16 finals of the playoffs. 

Corinthians

Antonio Oliveira was appointed head coach of Corinthians in February, but the fans are unlikely to be satisfied with his results so far. While the red-and-white have had some success in Copa Sudamericana, their league campaign has been less promising, with only seven points from the first 10 rounds. Their solitary victory came against a struggling Fluminense, who are now at the bottom of the table.

Last week, Corinthians narrowly lost to Internacional away (1:0), and prior to that, they failed to win in three consecutive matches across all competitions. As a result, the illustrious club finds itself in the relegation zone in 18th place, just one point away from the 16th spot. One positive for Oliveira’s team is their defence: Corinthians have conceded only 11 goals, but they have failed to score in seven Serie A matches.

Last November, Corinthians secured a narrow 1:0 victory. Moreover, in the last 10 head-to-head encounters, Paranaense has managed to win only once.
