According to the source, such friendly matches during major tournaments have become the norm for the French national team. It is emphasized that these games usually involve the reserve players of the French national team.

As a reminder, Mbappé broke his nose during the first match of the group stage of the 2024 European Championship against Austria, which ended with a 1-0 victory for France. Following this, a special protective mask was made for the forward, enabling him to participate in matches.

The 2024 European Championship is being held in Germany from June 14 to July 14. The teams that finish first and second in their groups, as well as the four best third-placed teams, will advance to the Round of 16.
