Cyriel Dessers, the Rangers striker, has voiced his confusion over the negative feedback he's encountered since his transfer to the team. Dessers, who transferred from Cremonese in Italy with a solid track record, has been met with criticism from supporters and commentators following a string of disappointing performances.
With just three goals in 10 league matches, the 28-year-old's output has fallen short of expectations. Nevertheless, Dessers highlights the often overlooked challenges of adjusting to a new country. Speaking to the Daily Record, Dessers said, "Some of the reactions are actually amusing to me.
For starters, I believe there's a general underestimation of the difficulties involved in relocating to a new nation." He added, "Looking at my season's statistics, they're not terrible, but they're not particularly impressive either. I had an objective for 25 goal involvements before the season started, and I am on track with that goal," he affirmed.
