Victor Boniface has expressed that he finds Bayer Leverkusen to be the ideal environment for his progression as a professional footballer.
At the age of 22, Boniface transitioned to Xabi Alonso's squad this summer after his time with Union St. Gilloise in the Belgian Pro League.
Last season, Boniface emerged as one of the top scorers in the UEFA Europa League, netting six goals.
The Nigerian forward has tallied 10 goals and contributed six assists in all competitions for Bayer Leverkusen.
He is confident that his move to Die Werkself was a wise choice for his career.
"Bayer Leverkusen is the ideal club for nurturing young talent like myself," he stated in a television documentary that chronicles his journey in German football.
Boniface is slated to participate when Leverkusen faces off against Qarabag in the UEFA Europa League match on October 8.
